Unexpected Wars

Lev was typing into the keyboard checking a map of the wasteland. "Rev if we keep going at this pace and drive through the night we can be at the first town by mid-morning." Rev simply nodded and kept driving. Lev flipped a couple switches and started typing rapidly. He was checking for updated maps of the wasteland, to see if there was any new towns after the first one. There were a few, but according to the charts they weren't that large. Once he finished checking for maps he checked the systems in the car. Everything checked out except for the turbo. Something seemed to be glitchy with them. He noted that they probably shouldn't use them unless it was absolutely necessary.

Kashara was traveling quickly, so quickly in fact that when a large bump came up in his path. When he hit it, the bike lurched forward, throwing him several feet ahead of it, and he landed very roughly, but he the landing wasn't the worst of his pain. Moments later his motorcycle bounced and landed on his arm, shortly followed by a loud howl. WHY DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN NOW, my arm is completely shattered, AND I AM SUPPOSED TO BE CATCHING TWO TARGETS

The Next Morning

Rev shook his brother awake as they pulled up into the outskirts of a small town. They didn't have any reason for stopping here, it was just a good rest stop. It was also so they could check up on some news. They wanted to know what was going on, plus they wanted to see if a storm was coming. It was always best to not be out in the open when a storm hit.

Rev went off in search of news while Lev searched through the contents in the back of the car and dug out some breakfast. He didn't grab anything that needed to be cooked though. He opened up the contents and created a kind of breakfast wrap. He made one for his brother, but put it in a bag so it would stay edible while he was gone. Finally finished he sat down in the drivers seat and ate is food. He was going to continue driving while Rev ate and slept.

Kashara awoke when the sun hit his eyes and he barely moved his arm, but stopped instantly once the pain hit. he swore under his breathe, and with a large breathe he bit a mouthful of his duster, and then he jerk his arm out, and winced very loudly. He then carefully made a makeshift support, to hold up his arm, and then stood up kicked the tracker off the bike, and held it in his hand, and took of running towards their location.

Rev came back and sighed. "There is going to be a storm in three days, well that's at least what the towns people think. I'm assuming their guess is pretty accurate though." He grabbed his breakfast and sat down in the passengers seat. He ate it hungrily and leaned back in his seat. "Lev try not and kill us please." Lev wasn't a very good driver. He could drive and get to where he needed to go, but he had totaled probably six cars already.
"Don't worry there isn't much i can hit out here so we will be fine." Lev finished his breakfast and started up the car driving off in the same direction they had been headed in.

Kashara had made it quiet a distance when he felt the sand flying up around him. " AGH, why does luck always have to conflict with my goals. a sand storm now, whats next, the twins are actually watching me, and about to blow my head off?" he stopped and looked around for some kind of shelter, when he saw three giant boulders set well enough to make a small cave, that could protect while he waited for the storm to die down.

Lev hit the breaks as the storm started to hit. What their luck. The storm hits two days early, though it was pretty hard to judge when a storm would hit precisely. He reached in the back and grabbed a tarp hooking up the corners to strong hooks placed all around the car. They had rigged the car with this hooks so a tarp could be put up and used to protect the passengers from a storm. Though that meant lost time sitting doing nothing.

When the storm began to rise, and get stronger, Kashara, had sat down in the back of the cave, a good seven feet away from the entrance. But it wasn't long before Kashara could hear motors revving in the distance. " OH my, it seems I had forgot all about the rescue squadron." he stood up and quickly ran out into an open area, so he could be spotted more easily, and in minutes a car pulled up, and a nice lady invited him to get in.

The car was being picked up by the winds. That was the one disadvantage to the tarp. It protected them but meant the car could be picked up and thrown around. The winds weren't strong enough yet, but they were getting there. Soon they would be thrown really high into the air and forced to stay there. They might also lose some distance.

Kashara could see the town coming up in the distance, he laughed quietly when the woman looked over to see him smiling, she tapped a button on the dashboard, and the turbo kicked in, and the car bent down. " Prepare yourself mister, it is gonna be rough landing, cause we don't open the gates during a storm, too dangerous." with her saying that all he could do was push his feet down, and hope he wouldn't come out. Moments later they jumped and were flying above the wall, and when they landed, Kashara was lifted out of his seat and then dropped again. " Heya, ma'am, thanks for the ride, but I need to know, is there a green ecoist in town, cause I had an accident, and it broke my only arm.
