Unexpected Wars

Once they reached the Forest, Lev sat down and took out a pad and bottles of paint. He pulled out a box of different brushes and picked the one he needed and opened the first bottle of paint. He began to paint the forest around him capturing every detail on the pad using a variety of colors and strokes. Cleaning his brush with a towel and bottle of water every so often. Occasionally changing brushes to get a different size for a different effect on the painting.

Rev sat next to him sketching the scene with a pencil doing several quick sketches catching the rough image of the forest. Then going back and doing more detailed sketches. Adding in strokes to resemble the aura the forest was giving off, to make up for the lack of color. They were trying to capture the picture in many different ways, because not only could they sell the piece, but it helped lock the picture in place for years to come.

Kashara was perched on top of the wall, looking at the two, so relaxed, so calm. They knew, yet they just painted, how could he kill people that are so devoted to the beauty of life. But still he had needs, and those need a steady flow of currency or he couldn't survive. He unsheathed his blade, and pushed it slightly into the wall. Then he began to slide down the wall, slowly, until he landed next to Lev, " Your work still amazes me. But that is beside the point, how did two artist's get a bounty on their head?"

Lev sat down his work and picked up his wooden staff with a metal center. Twirling it over his head he smiled. "If you want to know so bad why don't you attack and find out." He wasn't one to take being hunted for granted and he was ready to just get this over with.

Rev stood up and took a swig from his beer sitting his stuff down as well. His staff was strapped to his back using a strip of leather, he wasn't planning on using it until he was needed. Lev could hold him own until Rev finished his beer.

Kashara pulled his katana from the wall, and rubbed his finger across the edge of his blade to make sure it was still whetted, and not blunt. He then took position, and took a few steps to the right. He place his left arm to waist height, then smiled " Many people have fighting skills, and don't have bounties on their head, but alas, you seem to have both."

Lev brought his staff down in front of him and held it at an angle. "Who cares about any of that, just hurry it up so we can leave already." He was confident that he could win, and if he couldn't he knew he could at least keep himself from getting hurt too badly.

Kashara smiled, formally, he was a man who would signal the opponent to come at him, but seeing as his only hand was holding his blade, so he he had to speak out. " As a man of honor, I give you the first move, I never could take the action before another."

"A man of honor huh? What kind of honor is it to attack a couple of artists who you know nothing about. For all you know we could be completely innocent. However i will not take the first strike. I will not kill you, but i will not let you kill us. So you may be honored with the first strike."

Kashara cocked his brow, he looked up at the artist and was displeased, " Which are you, Lev or Rev, i guess that doesn't matter, I asked why I was sent to kill you, that was your chance to prove your innocence, but you refused. So I will give you another chance, and if you still fail, then we will battle."

"Listen, we are guilty, but i bet you were only told our descriptions and to kill us." While he was speaking Rev went into the woods and got into a hidden two seater zoomer and pulled it up near where the fight was about to go down. "See we already have our get away vehicle. Which means we are confident that we will win and get away. Now I'll tell you this one thing. If you can beat me then I will tell you the story to why you are going to kill us. Now if we win and get away, you'll chase us to finish the job. Well if you can catch us once that happens then we will also tell you the story. You wanna know why i know these things will happen. I know how little they told you, and i know that you are curious as to why two traveling artists for hire would be targets for an assassin. I also can tell you know that if we were guilty little criminals i wouldn't be speaking so casually. I also know that once we beat you and get away that you will be trying to wrap your mind around all of this and figure it out. So why don't we let this little fight start, unless you want to let us leave right now. Why would i suggest that, well because i know how some assassins love the thrill of the hunt. I don't know if you are one of these assassins, but who knows you might surprise me." Lev meant this mostly as a taunt and a challeng, but he also knew it would hit home. He didn't know the man, but he knew that that kind of taunt would hit home on most people.

Kashara laughed, so the battle would have to begin with him, he raised his blade to about his mid chest, and then used blue eco for a small burst of speed and than at the last second, he jumped, and used another burst of blue eco, to slightly increase the speed of his strike.
