Project Natal - E3'09 Milo DemoI'm not sure whether to be amazed or scared... This thing is awe inspiring, yet this combined with other technology today is so close to the Cylons, Borg, Replicators, etc that's it's scary. It is a little disappointing that Microsoft has once again ripped off another gaming company (ie Sony's Eye Toy). Though at least for once their ripoff has actually developed greater technology and potential then the original, allowing them to do new and original things with it.

Who cares! I think that Project Natal is already ahead of the eye toy (I had one and it sucked honestly) The way they where showing the difrrent things with it and also Milo did kinda creep me out a bit but in a good way. Also can we get a THANK YOU GOD for Left for Dead 2 XD *Squeel!*

I never said that the Eye Toy was any good. There's a reason that I never bought one. But the fact that Microsoft has come up with very few original ideas that have actually been hits I find to be pathetic.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Natal sucks or anything like that. In fact I think that it's brilliant simply because of the new innovations that Microsoft used to swing their ripoff of the Eye Toy. Though I do question a couple of Microsoft's choices in demos for their announcement of it, cause a couple of them were rather lame and brought me back to why I never bought the Eye Toy.
As for L4D 2, I'm not sure... I love what Valve has done with the first one and I think that some of the things going into the second will be awesome. But for a totally new game? L4D is really designed to be a one shot deal, because any more runs a very high risk of just ruining the whole game do to milking of something that shouldn't be milked. Now it might be good, it might even be awesome like the first, but until I actually play it I'm remaining skeptical.
The same thing goes for the two new Halo games just announced. When does it end? They're just milking the series of every ounce that it's got and it's starting to ruin the series for me, and I'm sure many others. Once a developer milks a series too much even going back to the original few games just isn't as much fun.

Well though I didn't get to see the any shows I did watch a few trailers. For one I'm looking forward to the new L4D 2 and the fact that its in New Orleans. Also the two new halos I don't think will be too bad. For one, Halo ODST is a stand alone story that has nothing to do with Master Chief. I also like how you will be doing more sneaking then AAAHHHH IM THE CHIEF, like in the other halos. Simply put your not playing as someone as epic as the chief. Next is Halo Reach, this is actually going back to the beginning. Reach is the training planet for the spartans and this is seems to be back when the humans first encountered the covenant. In other words, you will be fighting a loosing battle from the get go, if they are following the books. Then for all those who will play the game....I included....prepare to get your but kicked because thats what happened in the books.
