[Neki]

Neko looked up, untouched beer in her hand. She got up and went to the kitchen motioning for Evey to follow.
" We can leave the boys alone to talk for a few minutes. I dooubt it would kill Mick to converse once in a while." She smiled, and walked through the door.

[Altairas]

"So, you know, you never really answered my question." Evey asked as she leaned agenst the counters in the small cramped kitchen. Is she just avioding the question? She asked herself wondering if that was why she was dismissing her question."Are you ok with this whole brother thing?" She put alot of emphisis on the it looking at her with her peirceing blue eyes.

In the krimson guard before it turned krimson. Mick smiled with that. He seemed like one of the few good guys. One of the people not completly blinded by the barrion's corruption of the city. "Sounds like a decent guy." He said drinking the last few swallows of his beer. He thought for a second, thinking of about another small talk topic. "What do you do?" He asked slighly wondering what kind of job Rawling would have.

[Neki]

Neko looked at Evey.
" Do I look okay? How do I really know? How can I really tell?" She shook her head, a few small teardrops flying from her face.
" No, I'm not okay. I'm actually really scared Eves. What if I lose him, what if he's not really my brother? I don't know how well I would be able to deal with that. It might kill me." She took in a deep breath, trying to stay halfway calm.
" I just don't know Evey. I'm scared."

[Altairas]

Evey gave her a hug and rubbed her back. "He's a strong guy, I'm sure he will be around for a long time." At least I hope so. She added as she wispered in Neko's ear. "You have nothing to worry about, you should be happy. I would be. If I had a chance to see Zale again for example, I would be happy. " Pulling out of the hug she shook her head, Bad example "Look Neki it's all gonna turn out fine. I know it."

[Neki]

Neko accepted the hug gratefully.
" I know I'm an emotional wreck, but I'm just so scared. I know what you would do, but I never know what to do myself. I just have to be careful I guess."

[Altairas]

"Well I'm sure that if you were happy about it." Evey said smileing "It would probibly help." She streached and leaned back on the counter again and looked at her friend. "I think that your beer is lonely." She said changeing the subject. Motioning with her eyes she looked at the lonly untuched beer. "I can hear it. It wants you." She wispered and looking all serious, suddenly she burst out laughing.

[Neki]

Neko smiled and picked up the beer. She pressed the bottle to her lips and took a drink. She smiled at the cool drink, and she sighed.
" Better. Ok then, maybe we can figure this out." She sighed and tilted her head backward, long hair falling over her shoulder.
" Do you think we've left the two of them alone for too long? I don't hear all too much talking going on. " She smiled, still looking at the smoky colored cieling.

Rawling took another sip and swallowed with an 'ahh'. He chuckled a little. "As in job? heh eh. Well, I don't have an official one. My dad, that is my adoptive father, taught me how to bardor. So I hunt down various animals and gather the pelts and skins. Then sell them to various tanneries, taylors, clothes factories. Ya know... trade essentially."

[Altairas]

"Seems interesting." Mick smiled and then looked over slightly noticeing that both Neko and Evey were gone. Getting into trouble I suppose. He could hear them chatting in the kitchen, though what he couldn't quite discipher. He mentaly shook his head and then returned to his conversation. "I might start workin' at the port." He said softly, there was alot of confusion still laden in his voice. A job like this really seemed some what empty to him. He shook his head. "I'm not quite sure though."

Evey smiled. "I'm sure he can hold his own in a conversation, although I really can't belive he's talking so much. I haven't heard this manny words spout out of him since. . . well the incident." She said thinkng back to how hilarious and fun loveing her brother had once been. "Alot has changed since then."

[Neki]

Neko nodded.
" Ya." She said, just to say something. She didn't know all that much about Mick, even though she lived with him. She hadn't always lived with them, only after her life on the streets was over.
" Anywho. Ok then, so say that Rawling is my long lost brother, what memories does he have of me? I don't have to many of him exactly, just someone like a brother." It was something that had been bothering her, and she was too afaraid to ask Rawling.
