Appearance: He stands at about 6'4". He's well built and fit weighing about 175 lbs. He was slicked back peppered hair and grayish blue eyes. He also has a peppered well trimmed beard and mustache. For an older man he actually looks a little younger.
He has a only one tattoo located on his back. His coat of arms that he had made for himself. A rounded shield with two spears crossed and a phoenix with spread wings perched on top of the shield.
He wears a white formal shirt covered by a red vest with gold trim (Most don't know that there is a chest plate under his shirt). A cloth tasset, buckled at the waist, that is cut angled to the left and extends to his knees. I also has golden trim and golden ornate designs at the bottom. He wears white fitted pants with black riding boots that go to his knees. They are buckled below the knee and at the foot. He has full arm gaunlets decarated with the same red cloth with goldern trim on the for arms and shoulder and white gloves. Underneath the red decor are metal plates. He tops it of with a red tricorne hat with the same golden ornate designs as the tasset and a large white feather attached to its side.
He very well looks like a man of authority.
Voice: Like a deeper, rougher Sean Connery without the accent.
Posture: Stands straight but relaxed. He want to express himself positively because of his reputation and authority.
Personality: Extremely friendly and forgiving. He always believes in second chances. He is more passive but when its time to fight he is ready to throw down. He shows sympathy for the unfortunate and not so privelaged. People see him as being very approachable and trusting though sometimes he can be very stern and authotive when he needs to be. He is an excellent leader and inspirational figure to most.
Occupation: Captain of the Pole Arms Divsion of the KG. He created this division.
Abilities/Skills: He is skilled with any kind of pole arm. Pikes, halberds, javelins, spears, bo staff. You name it. He is a master of three different martial art. Also his excellent leadership.
Powers: He picked up the use of red eco to aid himself in combat or helping the locals haul a few things.
Currently at beginner.
Weapons: A custom spear with a bladed tip that runs 1 1/2 feet down the shaft and a pointed tip on the other end. It also collapses in half so that he may sling it on his back for easy carrying.
Relationships: Wife Aila, son Luther(23), and daughter Seri(19)
Story about them/History: Starus Grusum was born into poverty and grew up learning how to scrounge, conserve, and appreciate life and what he had in it. Life for him was a survival test up until the point he was 18 and he decided to join the KG.
He was a very gifted strategist and leader. He easily moved through the ranks and was captain of his own squad at the age of 22. There was never person who didn't not respect him in Haven, for he gave high respect and kindness to everyone he met. Never was there a day where he brought some criminal into justice or influence a youth to be better than a thief or a delinquent. He lead people in poverty that came from life of crime, find better meaning.
When he was 24 he met his wife, Aila, on the streets of Haven City while on patrol and they hit it off very well. A year later they married and eventually had there first child. A son they named Luther. Four years later came there secong child. A daughter they named Seri. He was a very good father and husband and planned to bring his children up with the same values as he had grown up with. He was a family man. Giving him even more respect from his community.
He had given much to the KG and decided to propose a new division of the KG as a means of frontline defense. A division composed of mainly lances, spears, and shields. Starus thought that it would be a great idea for a defense line for Haven City by setting up a phalynx of red eco infused shields. With this proposal the KG higher ups decided to approve his request. He is now the commander of the newest unit: The Pole Arms Divsion. Also known as the PAD. It has been 3 years since it's development. There is a rumored "secret weapon" the PAD had just developed but know one knows what it could be.
Also, just recently his son had joined the ranks of the PAD with a specialty of red eco. And daughter is learning the art of green eco use hoping to be a nurse.
