Bronx was on the wall of the vent; luckily he found the spot where the Bot couldn’t hit. He waited till the firing went down.
Tatsu kept attacking it was working however. Once in a long while he would slow down time and take the advantage to kill more with a swing and turn. He was waiting for Nephra to get back or at least speak to him. His eyes closing every few minutes. He was getting tired.
Nephra kept her dancing style up. Now that the bots were dropping like flies she could ease up a bit. Never again will I agree to come with Tatsu on another death defying trip. She swung once more and her foot landed in the eye of a Bot.

As the squad reloaded their weapons, and fired the next clip at the trapped deathbots, the last one fell to their hail of 7.62x39mm rounds. There were a series of clicks and clangs as clips were ejected, and fresh magazines were inserted. "The area up ahead is clear, sir!" The squad leader said. "We cleared them all out on our way here." He glanced back to his squad. "We need to split our remaining ammunition with them." Third squad quickly moved to where first squad was, and they began to divide up their remaining clips. "Second squad, what's your status, over?" The squad leader asked.
"Stand by!" Was the sharp response. "We've been engaged, but we've gotten help from Nephra and we're beginning to push them back! We'll be moving to your position when this is cleared up! ETA 6 minutes, over!"
Zephan quickly made his way across the vent while the deathbot below reloaded. "It'll have friends coming soon enough, we need to get out of here before they gas us or something." Zephan whispered.

Bronx went behind him and fallowed. “I think they’re coming right now.” He noticed the Bots aiming at them through the little slits in the metal. “We should hurry…” Was all he could say before they started to fire.
Nephra stopped for the moment she was worn out. “Can you guys cover me before I faint?” Her head thumped, knees twitched, arms ached. She needs food before she would fall. Now it made her thing of Tatsu.
Tatsu struggled to stay up now. At least all the Bots were done in the area. He looked around for a moment then saw Zrion. "Told ya Id protect ya." He hit the ground.

"We've got you." The squad leader said comfortingly. There was barely a handful of deathbots left in the hallway, most of them damaged, and they were quickly being mopped up by the lethal fire from armor-piercing handgun ammunition.
Zephan hurried after Bronx, as quickly as he could, praying he could avoid the bullets. "Damn it, damn it, damn it!" He kept mumbling under his breath. At least the end of the vent was in sight.
"Well, you didn't say anything about nearly killing yourself." Zrion muttered. He glanced to his left, and saw the two squads discussing tactics and loading their weapons. "Now, how're we gonna get out of here?"

While Zrion talked Tatsu was out cold so whatever he said was going in one ear and out the other. He looked a bit peaceful but other wise rested. From there he seemed to not know what would go on. The data stick was on his right well protected.
Nephra looked at the men, she couldn’t go on longer, she was ready to go to sleep right there in the hallway. Her and her husband fought hard, but this was harder than they thought.
Bronx emerged out of the vent, only to be captured by ten death bots. “Damn.” He said as one made a move to hit him. He moved quickly and powered Red eco that he never knew he had. He quickly jumped up and punched the head right off of it.

"Hm, just like Zrion." Zephan thought. He jumped down, landing so his back was to Bronx and he was facing the other half of the deathbots. "Come get some!" He shouted at the bots. Even as they charged, Zephan got an idea. He concentrated his telekinesis ability, and raised his right hand. The deathbot suddenly shuddered, and fell. Zephan smirked. He'd have to remember that trick. Said trick was ripping a single, important component out of place within the deathbots. It took a minimal amount of energy, and was extremely effective. Using this tactic, he brought down two more deathbots before they were upon him. He grabbed on to one's leg, and scampered up to it's head. He aimed the knife, and drove it down into the head. The deathbot seemed to twitch and malfunction, before dying. "Four down..." he muttered.
The squad's medic walked up to Zrion. "Sir, I'm glad to see you're alright. We've got to get you out of here. Earlier we sent out a scouting party, and they've reported a hanger. There are several Osprey transport craft that the KG captured from us at some point. I'd say that's our ticket out of here." Zrion nodded. "That sounds good. Help me up, I can walk with some help I think."
The medic nodded, and knelt down. Zrion threw his arm around the medic's shoulder, and hosted himself up. Although he felt clumsy and heavy, he was able to maintain a grip on his rifle with one hand, and his other arm around the medic's shoulder. "Have the other medic carry Tatsu. He's out cold." Zrion muttered. The second medic slung his rifle over his back, and knelt down to pick up Tatsu. He draped the sage over his shoulders, so they could still move. Another soldier picked up Jenkins, so they could continue. With all of their wounded supported or otherwise accounted for, Zrion activated his radio. "First squad to second squad, we've rendezvoused with Third squad and we've driven off our attacks. There's a large hanger bay about 200 meters east of your current position. We'll meet you there, over!"
Zrion glanced to the squad, who were all looking at him intently. "Let's move out soldiers! I want three ranks of lines. The first will be unwounded, the second will be those supporting the wounded, and another line of unwounded will bring up the rear. Get moving!" The strike team quickly formed up, and began moving down the hallway.

Succumbed in the darkness of unconsciousness Tatsu had plenty of time to figure out his plan over again. Years before he made it, but now with fractions of it he would have to rethink everything. Knowing where the Eco crystals are he may be able to use them in the war for metal heads… sadly he was keeping one thing away from the others. The Dark Makers. Mythed to have created the Metal Heads, so Dark Eco might not work against them. But it was something he needed to do before they arrived. He remember the rocks speaking of a time when the Precursors walked amonged them. When they had their own counterparts. He only got brief images but he got the images of: Dark Maker Troopers, Dark Satellite, Dark Maker Hornet, and the Dark Maker Terraformer. The beast of beasts as he thought over the so-called years. Nephra wouldn’t slip away easy. She charged her self up with her newly found Green Eco skills Zephan still has yet to teach her about. Then she pumped her flail with her Red Eco. The flail spun with ease, making a whistling sound like a string or plastic wire swinging as fast as it could. The sound was deadly and sweet. Hearing Zrion talk she started to head up there. She back flipped out of the way of a Death Bot, and then crashed the iron ball into its metallic skull. She grabbed the radio on her right and spoke, “Zrion how’s everything up there?” Knowing her husband he was out cold for a minute. Something she would love to do at the moment but couldn’t seeing as where she was. Bronx jumped onto the face of the Death Bot. Using his Red Eco he put it all to his fists and then struck the nose of the mechanic. He wasn’t going to waist precious time so he jumped from the destroyed Death Bots chest, back flipping onto another and slamming his fists into its chest plate, grabbing all the wires he could. He pulled a handful out and went to the next. Two down, four to go.

Zephan lept, and using his superior agility, he managed to get behind the deathbot. He jumped up, and clung on for dear life as the deathbot tried to shake him off. Zephan used the knife, and drove it into the deathbot's back. This did not kill it, but his plan was to saw a section off. He did this, and after about 20 seconds of cutting, he succeeded in cutting a small square. He stuck his hand in, and ripped out several wires. The deathbot began to shudder, and jerk all over the place. Zephan stabbed the knife into the bot, and lept away. Electricity and eco sparkled in the hole he had made, before the bot died. Zephan glanced into the hole, and saw the knife had mostly melted. He frowned. He would have to fight with his telekinesis without a weapon, which would take it's toll quickly.
Zrion activated his radio. "We're operational Nephra, barely. We've got 3 men out of action and the guys carrying them can't fight either. We're heading for the hanger bay, ETA 8 minutes. How's your squad doing?"

Nephra pushed the small button on the radio. “We’ll were out by half almost. Bots from all over have been coming endlessly.” She heard a man fire at another bot but shrugged it off. “Zrion how’s Tatsu doing?” She had to ask. Her husband was her world as well as her daughter. Nephra turned and saw one of her men get taken down by a Sentinel. “Damn it get the man up now!” She yelled outraged. She felt her eco kicking in but she couldn’t use it. No energy left inside her strong bones.
A Death Bot went in front of the Diva. She glared at it for a moment. “This bot better move.” She growled. With a quick swift of her right leg her body came down, hands closing in on the floor. He leg swung and knocked the bot on the ground. Then lifting her left arm she brought it down with a red aura wrapping around her small fist. Piercing its chest, ending it. She got up and brushed off some oil. “Better.” She spoke.
Bronx looked around. Three left, He can take two while Zephan took one, or he can take three with something he had no idea of. He jumped at one and hung close to it, making it impossible for it to grip him off. He used his newly found eco and slammed his hand into its head, ending its circuitry life. He then looked at the other two.
He jumped from the falling body to the next victim. He attacked it with his knife, sending it through the Bots chest then he jumped to its back and broke through its armor with his fist. Taking wires out he smiled a little.

The remaining bot was faced with a decision. It could either shoot at Bronx, risking damaging his ally, or possibly saving it. It's other option was to shoot at Zephan. After analyzing the situation, the deadly war machine made it's decision. It rotated it's arm mounted gun, and fired at Zephan. The small, but powerful ottsel didn't so much as blink, as a translucent barrier of green eco formed in front of him, absorbing the attack. Zephan dropped the shield, and his eyes glowed a bright, yellow green as his telekinesis activated. He raised his right hand, and slashed his arm sideways. One of the bot's two legs was ripped off, and hovered in midair. The now injured bot quickly fell over, stranded on it's side. As the bot attempted, and failed to right itself, Zephan aimed the metallic leg, and propelled it directly at the metal blast bot. The sheer force of the attack drove the projectile through the bot's armor. Electricity crackled around the dying bot, as it's CPU malfunctioned and created the robotic equivalent of a mental breakdown. The bot died soon after, and Zephan released his hold on his telekinesis. He massaged his forehead, as he felt the intense feeling of power leave him, and the usual headache that accompanied it. After a moment, he spoke to Bronx. "There's probably more on the way, these things have a built in kill sensor, that automatically calls for reinforcements when one of them dies. We must get to Zrion and his squad quickly."
Zephan, for the first time since the skirmish had begun, carefully took in his surroundings. The corridor was the usual bland, red-themed coloring with little else in it other than the useless scrap metal that had once been called deathbots. However, Zephan recognized their location because of the pattern of the colors. He had figured out that the Deathbots used the colors for more than decoration. They were used for navigation around the factory. Certain patterns indicated certain locations. For example, three red stripes and two gray stripes that covered the wall and alternated lines, would indicated that the hallway was for maintenance. The current hallway seemed to lead to a hanger of some kind. That would probably be the destination of Zrion's squad. "Alright, this way leads to the main hangar, that's where we'll find Zrion and his squad. This way!" Now confident in his ability to lead the way, Zephan bounded off at his full speed, fully prepared to cleave a path straight to the hangar through any deathbots that stood in the way.
Zrion glanced over at Tatsu. The sage was still unconscious, but from what Zrion could tell he was relatively stable, and his breathing didn't seem to be labored. "He seems to be fine Nephra. He's unconscious but otherwise I think he's in decent shape. Probably better than I am actually. We're headed for the hangar, good luck. Zrion out." The black-armored soldier released the button, and returned his attention to the matter at hand. With one arm useless, he had strapped his accordingly useless rifle to his back, and instead opted to wield his Desert Eagle handgun, in his right hand. Although he didn't honestly need it, as the front guard was doing quite a good job of keeping the wounded secure as they blew a path through the KG defenses.
It was several minutes of firefights and frequent skirmishes when they came upon the hangar. The entrance had been a thick, armored door flanked on both sides by a squad of deathbots. With some good planning and a little luck, they had managed to neutralize the guards rather quickly. As the squad entered the hangar, they found it to be deserted. Deserted, except for the Three, V-22 Ospreys that sat in the hangar. As if to raise their morale, the craft were not even damaged. "Alright, form a defensive box formation and hold here until Nephra and her squad arrives. Get the wounded into the chopper, excluding me." The other soldiers quickly obliged, taking the wounded into the mighty transport craft and gingerly securing them on the floor. Zrion turned his attention to the thick armored doors. Whether Nephra's Squad, Death bots, or even Zephan would emerge through there next, he did not know. He could only hope that both of them were still alive.
