Tatsu looked at the FL. “Get ready. By now Death bots, Sentries and even security tanks know we’re here.” He grabbed his double-bladed scythe from his back. Without haste he went off through the door. Several minutes past before he was right. Sentries and Death Bots were on their way. They started to fire more and more. Tatsu dodged each fire, blocking some with his scythe. Need to get to Zrion and the others. He looked and saw the way they went. Behind him the FL was firing at every last one.
Nephra smiled as she ripped the head off of one of the Death Bots. She looked around and saw oil and lights all over. Metalic limbs on the ground twitching l8ike a fish out of water. “We need to hurry.” She told the A team. With out any more words she took off down the hall. She turned and got to their point.
*Nephra grabbed her husband’s head and lifted him on her lap. “Stupid fool.” She smiled a warm smile. She hasn’t felt much pain since her son died. She bought her beautiful face to his scarred, she held him close.
“That’s…why…you…married…me.” Tatsu coughed up blood. More blood than he liked. He gave Nephra her same smile back, but with more of an angelic touch. “Where’s Remi?” He needed to know his little girl was all right. Then he would be more at peace.
Nephra looked back and saw their daughter slowly crawl on over to the noise. “She’s coming for you.” Nephra slipped a little chuckle with tears. “Don’t worry…” She was cut off.*

"Everyone, frag them now!" Zrion yelled out over the gunfire. It stopped momentarily as each and every soldier reached down to his belt, and pulled up a frag grenade. Almost in sync, each soldier pulled the pin, and threw it to various parts of the room. Most of them wisely ran for cover, and covered their ears, then all hell broke loose. The entire room shook as the grenades detonated, jarring their very bones and still deafening despite covering their ears. Then, it was over. Looking around at the destruction, there wasn't much left of the enemy except a few scattered remnants and a lot of scorch marks. "Alright, all of you watch the entrances. I want the explosives expert up here now." Said expert quickly moved up, and began to plant his C4 charges on the pillar-shaped generator. After about 30 seconds, he said "I'm done sir!" He said. Zrion nodded. "Everyone form up, single file, head for the rally point! They know we're here by now, so feel free to use grenades and take your silencers off. We'll need the extra firepower." The squad took a moment to remove their silencers, and then formed up as Zrion said. They cautiously moved forward, not splitting up as they needed the extra firepower.

The moonlight scythe’s sliced through the Death Bots head. Covered in oil Tatsu looked around. Surrounded by Sentinel’s, Death Bots, Security Tanks, Hopper Bots, and Blade Beaters Tatsu didn’t have a choice but to fight. The FL behind him kept firing at the various amounts of Bots. Damn it! [/] He was running out of solutions. Finally twisting his wrist the blade broke into two. His body started to glow toe to head slowly. His beautiful light wings sprouted as the glow reached his back. He was now light.
He swung his arms right and left. Front to back hitting the Bots that came close. The tankers wouldn’t be easy, not for him anyways. He would leave them till last. A Death Bot was about to shoot him when the FL shot it in the head, ending its pathetic mechanical life. Tatsu gave away a smile and a nod to thank the soldier. The rest he would have to do.
Creating a force field in front he would send it forward like a door. Hitting assorted enemies. His lust for war didn’t match with this simple fight. He stayed light the whole time, defending the soldier most and killing the rest of the Bots. His pulse calm, beating like a blue bird wings. He wouldn’t let any none-living thing hurt him.
Nephra heard the Explosives expert say done. It didn’t take long for the team to get their heads together and start fighting. Bots started to come, not just ten but twenty of them. “All right men, Lets get Ready!” She smiled. Swinging her flail above her head the Bots thought her to be the easiest to kill. Firing one by one they all aimed to her. “Not smart.” She spoke as the flail went into three.
*Several KG soldiers blew the door. Holding guns to them Nephra felt frantic. She couldn’t believe it, what were they doing here? “Sage Tatsu, Nephralia you two are here by arrested for suspicion of letting metal heads in the city.” The leader of the squad said. Nephra’s heart sank. They would never let any monsters in their city where their daughter lives.
“That preposterous!” Nephra yelled. She couldn’t fight with them long, not while Tatsu was dieing in her arms. The KG didn’t care what she thought so she gave up but said, “What of Remi? She is coming with us.” The soldiers looked at the small child.
Finally the soldier said what he should say, “She will be taken into foster care till then.” Nephra’s heart shattered more and more. Her rage went to her heart. If her husband weren’t here and dieing she would have killed the bastards. No one says that, not to a mother who loved her baby girl for too long.
Rage got in her voice. “No! I will not let you take her!” She didn’t realize but she was standing with her dark claw out and almost in the KG’s throat. She saw the fear through his mask, but she wouldn’t move. Feeling a warm, delicate hand on her ankle she blinked and looked down. Holding it was Remi, her other arm holding her fathers finger. Tears grew in her eyes as well as Nephra’s. “I’m sorry baby girl.” Nephra chocked. *

Zrion, as the point-man, carefully looked around the corner. As expected, there were about 24 death-bots around, and...dear god, was that a tank? That figured. He glanced back in the squad, and his prayers were answered as he saw a man with an RPG7 on his back. He signed with his hands, and wordlessly told the squad about 3 sentences worth of information. As per his instructions, the RPG7 man would stay back, and wait for the others to clear out the ones vulnerable to small arms fire. Zrion pulled out a grenade, and pulled the pin. He threw it towards the crowd of soldiers, and it detonated. It didn't kill many of them, because, unless en masse as before, KG deathbots were very resilient to shrapnel from a grenade. The squad ran out, spreading out in a single line that went horizontally across the hallway, firing their weapons at the KG deathbots. The tank unfortunately was there also. A 90mm cannon was currently priming and preparing to fire at them. "Braeburn! Take it out now!" The man quickly ran up, and, ignoring the bullets bouncing off his armor, he fired his rocket. Time seemed to freeze as the rocket flew forward, on a direct course for the tank. Everyone knew that RPG7s were very inaccurate when firing rockets, so they could only pray it would hit. Their prayers were heard by someone though, as it struck the tank and blew a hole straight through the armor. Nothing happened, but Zrion knew better. "COVER!" He bellowed. The squad dived around the corner for dear life, and not a moment too soon. With the second deafening BANG of the day, the tank's ammunition exploded, shaking the entire factory and blasting a whole right through the armored floor. When it quieted down, Zrion glanced around the corner, seeing a lot of scorch marks and scrap metal. "Hallway clear!" He called out. The squad formed up again, and continued onward, minding the large hole in the middle of the floor.

Swinging the scythe went through a Death Bots torso cutting him in half springing oil forward. Tatsu looked back seeing the soldier still firing. It didn’t take him long to realize that the fortress sent out Blast Bots. Great. He slowly created a shield around the both of them. “Get to Zrion!” He yelled to the soldier pointing to a clear point where he can easily run and get down the hall. The soldier nodded and took off out of the shield.
Once the soldier was away he brought the shield closer to himself, two inches from himself, forming his body almost. Come on get closer! His plan was a simple plan. Once all the Blast Bots were near him he would spring the shield out as fast and hard as he can hitting the Blast Bots with enormous strength sending them flying to the walls or falling off the Fortress. The Blast Bots got near.
Nephra swung the flail. It went flying through the smoke air hitting a Sentinel. She heard her men firing one by one. That was good. As she attacked she swung her hips as if she were dancing. It was beautiful, graceful and oily. That didn’t stop her though.

The squad at this point was completely abandoning stealth. They barely even glanced around the corner before rushing out and firing their weapons. Unfortunately though, they were running low on ammunition. Zrion had to stop the squad for a moment, and split their remaining ammunition evenly between them all. As it were, Zrion only had 48 rounds left for his rifle, and the other soldiers were similarly limited. One or two were already down to their sidearms. No, definitely not good.

The impact of the shield went all across. Through the halls and through the control room. His Eco was draining, faster and faster. Soon he fell to the ground completely weak of it. Though he was a sage, he even held limits.
So this is what the brink of death feels like. Not like last time. Roses, flowers? Did death get sweet? Tatsu tried to open his eyes, but failed. I can’t let go now. Not when so many depend on me. He lay on the ground, paralyzed for the moment. The bots didn’t hesitate. Their mechanical mind told them to attack. On brought its sharp deadly foot into Tatsu’s shoulder. There’s the pain I expected. Wonder what Nephra is doing right now? Most likely taking down everything around her as she always did. A bot fired at his leg.
Nephra slammed the flail into the bot that just landed on Tatsu’s shoulder. She took the initiative to go forward ahead of the soldiers to see what happened. After all it didn’t take her long to run into Tatsu’s guard. From their she had head up to the main entrance where the three departed. That’s when she saw the bot bring its leg down and stabbing him in the shoulder, thus her flail leaving her side.
All the Bots looked at her with expressionless looks. Red eyes, lights flickering. One charged, so did Nephra. With a whip of her hair, beautiful midnight dark horns with a hint of light grew from the top of her skull. Her eyeballs shrouded in darkness skin fogging with purple. Nails starting to grow long, longer than her normal length, three times longer, four times. She slammed her right claw into a Death Bot, then her left into a flying Blade Beater.
She roared with great intensity. If a soldier were there they would be pissing their pants at her sight. Quickly her eyes flickered towards a new target. Shrank! Her claws brought out wires and boards. Now running to the new targets she turned invisible. Not knowing if the bots had heat seeking or any means to see her invisible she took the chance. Leaping into a front flip both her claws went into the eyes of the mighty bots.
What’s that sound? Is death taking another? Leaving me alone? Can’t be… what is there too do? Tatsu tried once more to open his eyes, but it didn’t work. His light was slowly fading from his body, eyes returning to normal if they were open. He was useless now, but only for the moment. Consumed with his own death.
Nephra got oil on her, it fueled her lust for darkness, into tearing everything around her into parts. While she was in darkness she still held on to her brain, mind. She would use her ultimate move when she was almost drained of Eco. Raising her arm in the air she waited for a Sentinel to come towards her. When it did she brought her elbow down with such grace the bot went crashing into the ground below her. For the moment she felt like death itself. Beautiful; graceful; merciless. Her heart beat even with her fists and joints.
*The soldiers pulled her into the rig. There she watched as Tatsu was put into an ambulance zoomer heading down to the local hospital. “I want to go with my husband.” She said weakly. Her heart was ripped from her chest and handed back to her on a plate so she could consume it as she always did.
“The only place your going is to the Palace’s interrogation room.”
Nephra looked at him with raging eyes. I could kill you in a heartbeat bastard. She would have said that but sadly she didn’t want any more trouble with him nor the KG. Instead all she did was sit and wait… wait for her judgment to be handed to her face and witness all the idiots in the world. “If you have any evidence, which I don’t think you don’t, the minute we get there I’ll be walking out with your badge.” She threatened with an official one. *

Zrion glanced around the corner, as carefully as he could, and then had to rip his head back behind as it was nearly blown off. "More deathbots. The surprises just keep on coming. Anyone got any grenades?" No one spoke up. "Figures, you two with the handguns hang back and let us attack. Come out and shoot after 4 seconds, that should soften them up enough." He paused for a moment more, "Go go go!" He barked. The men quickly slid out, and fired at the crowd of bots. Unfortunately, this time they were ready for them, and a lot of them were being struck by bullets. Zrion took a heavy round to the chest, and was knocked backwards and hit the wall, then slid down to the ground. He was knocked out. One soldier noticed him, and bellowed over the radio. "The commander's down! We need a medic over here!" Said medic quickly ducked down, and moved to Zrion. The bullet was slowed a lot by his armor, but the round had been armor piercing, and unable to deflect it. The medic looked around Zrion, and saw the back of it was undamaged. It meant that the bullet was still inside, so it did more harm. "Damn it.." He muttered. That was the main weakness of the Spec Ops armor. It was so strong that if a bullet went in the front, it almost never went out the back, trapping it inside the victim's body. He examined the wound, and cursed when he saw the bullet was in too deep to be removed. He put Zrion flat on the ground, and slowly dragged him to safety behind the corner. He removed the chest-plate of Zrion's armor, and took off his undershirt so he could see the wound. He took bandages out, and applied them. He pressed down on the wound, to try and halt the bleeding. There was another cry of pain, and another soldier fell. "Damn it!" The medic cried. He turned on his radio. "Second Squad, this is first squad! The commander and Private Jenkins are wounded! We are unable to reach the rally point and we need backup now!" A soldier had dragged the other wounded soldier towards the medic, and left him next to Zrion. Said soldier then returned to the firefight. The medic was now up to his elbows in blood, and struggling to save two lives at once.

Nephra heard the man speak through the little radio on her shoulder. Damn it all! She quickly launched herself in the air. Twisting her body into a tornado bolts of dark Eco rushed out of her and started to hit the Bots. Everyone in the area fell to the ground, to pieces. Oil formed around Tatsu’s faint body. Nephra hit the ground with a thump. Nothing woke his ass up.
Nephra brought her head up. Horns sinking into her skull she said, “Time for your ass to wake up.” She slowly crawled over to him and banged his head to the ground. His body twitched and he jumped two feet into the air. With a yell and a curse he gained himself into looking around.
So I wasn’t dead. He looked at Nephra who was weak at the moment. She whispered something but he didn’t hear her, instead read her lips with ease. “Zrion down, need help. Gotcha.” He grabbed her with one arm lifting her whole body up into a cradle position in his arms. There he grabbed his scythe and twisted them back into one double bladed. He strapped it around his back and took off.
Before long he got into the main hall where Zrion took. There he saw the Bots attacking the little squads and Medics in their fullest. He had to set Nephra aside and go on with saving the group. Damn this job. His body turned light and he grabbed his scythe. Clicking it broke in two and he started to swing. Slash… Swash, Slice. The scythes went into the Bots with ease. He was benevolently walking towards the group. Bot falling, some hitting him in minor areas though. Once done he to would need a medic.
Zrion you better damn be alive when I get to you. He twisted like a whirlpool, going down with both scythes out and cutting through all the bots that were near him. Before he knew it he did the splits and OUCH!. A tear came from his eye. Reminder, never do that again! He then jumped up doing a front flip his scythe went into the head of a Sentinel and the other into a Death bot. It was taking a bit but he would make with getting to the group. Then of course the other three groups would need help. Where was Zephan for that matter?
He felt Zrions Eco; it was faint, but there. He started going faster, ready to save his best friend. Swinging to the left, right he killed more by the minute. With the help of Zrions squad the hall was clear for the moment. Finally he go there and saw his injured friend. “Has any one helped him yet?” He wanted to make sure so his work wouldn’t be for nothing.
Nephra slowly crawled over. What was she thinking? She did her part it was time for the damn man to lift her and carry her. But then again a woman should always stand on their own two feet for sometime in life no man would be there to help. She crawled slowly of course.
*The soldier simply cursed at her. Before long they were at the Palace, then she was in a holding cell. Soon her husband arrived with his arm missing and cuts all over. He was on lifter and simply just put in the room with her. She grabbed his left hand and held it tight. Ready for whatever was to come from his mouth…but nothing did.

"I've been trying to stop the bleeding." The medic said. "The bullet is too deep for me to extract, so there isn't much I can do. We need to them back to camp as quickly as possible." He continued to work, trying to stop the bleeding. "Zephan isn't with us, Zrion sent him ahead to scout a few minutes ago but he hasn't come back. We think he must be pinned down somewhere." The medic continued working. "Damn it, there must be something weird with this bullet, the bleeding isn't even slowing!"
Well, the medic was right. Zephan WAS pinned down. He had been maneuvering through the ventilation shafts, but right when he was about to return to Zrion, he had been spotted. Now he was stranded in the vent, trying to dodge bullets as they shot through the thin metal of the vent. He cursed to himself, as there wasn't much he could do. Even his eco wouldn't help him here, as they were firing too quickly for even a shield to hold off long enough, and green eco wasn't exactly suited to destroy deathbots either. Yeah, this operation was going quite sour.
