Rev and Lev both activated their car fully. Lev immediately began typing in a lengthy code. He was hacking into the start systems. He started up the light system and began to flash. He then opened up the boost system and started up the first boost module. The second light flashed and Rev put his foot on the gas and reved the car. The final light went off and Rev let off the break and hit the boost switch. Lev controlled the amount of boost let out of the car as they zoomed down the straight away. The boost was essential for the first jump to the upwards spin.

Zrion was high above. He could see the race clearly though. He had The Glint (As Zephan put it) in his eye. It usually meant he was planning either something very stupid, very dangerous, or more likely both.

Tatsu took off. He steered the car well, he hasn't raced much with a car, only with a zoomer, he was the grand champion in Haven when the baron was there, than Erol cheated his way. Tatsu's eyes were glowing, his four pupils were on Rev's car.
Nephra started to sing. She sang Waves.
"Like a rush on the beach
At the end of the day

And you think everything's lost in the waves" She gave her heart out to it.

Will see blooming this love" She stoped for a moment. Her voice needed a break for a moment. One of the crime lords heard, Her captore heard, he was mad, outraged.

Grinning evilly, Zrion dropped a bomb from the cruiser. It hit the track a little in front of the car, but not close enough to do any damage. The ground shook as the bomb exploded on contact. This race was about to get a little more challenging.

Rev steered around the explosion while Lev flipped through the controls. He stabalized the engine pressure and returned the car's boost back to zero. No need to waste the boost on the next part of the race. Then taking into measure the racers behind he flipped a switch and out of the muffler oil slick shot all across the road. It would take care of any racer who couldn't handle their car very well. Rev took the left up ahead. The right would lead to a dead end.

"Sneaky arent yah." Tatsu said right next to them. He was a pro zoomer racer, just lik Nephra used to be, till she was beat, then he was. Tatsu took the same pass as they did and staid next to them.
Nephra looked around her, she was feeling uncomfortable. A man in black, well several men walked in, all had guns in their hands. "Why mrs.White, you know the rule of not singing anywhere else besides where we tell you to." One of the men said. "I also know the rule where you come into my house and or area like this with a gun, you just forfeited your life." She said snapping at him. "Now now mrs. White, no need to get snappy." The man said bringing the gun up and pulling the trigger. Nephra flew back, arm blooded now. "D*** kras..." She said slowly getting up, there was a bullet wound in the center uper part of her arm.

Zrion noticed quickly. "Oh that wasn't smart." Zrion muttered. He couldn't do much from up here that didn't involve raining down hell with the .50 caliber turrets, and he'd rather not at this point. If it came down to it though...He shifted in his seat. He aimed the turrets at the men, but did not fire. It was more of a warning than anything else. If Nephra gave any indication she wanted it he'd fill them with lead.

The course was a long one. It was one lap and for one reason only. When Rev and Lev designed it they made all kinds of sub-roads, and secret passageways that changed every race. It was unpredictable. However it all lead to the same thing. It was a spiraling road towering above the ground. It went up twenty stories and leveled out at the top till you had to drive back down. The way down was slanted and steep. However for a reason. About thirty feet after the bottom of the ramp was a bridge. However it would raise as soon as the first person got to midway point of the downward slope. If you didn't arrive in time it was nearly impossible to make the jump and there was no other way to get to the finish line.
Rev reached over and hit a button activating a flamethrower. It was aimed down so it would only hit the bottom of any car. It wasn't lethal, but it could burn the tires and other important parts ending the race for an opponent. As soon as Rev hit the button it slid out and let loose the hot flame. It would keep going for about a minute till it was automatically shut off.
Lev monitored the car's energy outputs and they would have enough to make it up the spiral, down the slope and across the bridge. He opened up a panel and ran the numbers, making sure he knew the right energy output they would need to make it across the bridge before it rose all the way. He already knew the answer but he wanted to make sure. No car was fast enough to make it to the bridge in time to just cross. Even with boost no car could make it in time. You had to jump the gap.

Nephra jumped looked at Zrion and winked. "Now boys, I hope you had a great life." She said running over to the edge. There she jumped down and landed on a zoomer, back first hurting her whole body. Now she waited for Zrion to attack.

With a sadistic smirk, that made Zephan shudder, Zrion pulled the trigger on the control stick. The twin turrets began to spin, and they roared as they formed a lethal wall of lead. With .50 caliber rounds firing at 1,200 rounds per minute, the men died in less than a second. The concrete they had been standing on was reduced to a pulverized mess, and there wasn't much left of them but a stain on the ground.
"God you really didn't go light on this thing did you?" Zephan asked. Zrion laughed a little. "Zephan if there is anything you should have learned about me by now, it's that I never go light on the firepower."
