The smile on Evey's was apparent as she flew down the streets cutting over rooftops to avoid traffic. She could feel the beating of her heart in her throat as she ducked under a Hellcat cruiser. A dim thought of Mick flashed in her mind but she shook her head. Now wasn't the time.
Evey leaned forward and switched hover-zones swerving and dodging the groups of people. She even passed the one kid who stepped on her toe and the group of KGs with him. "Aww snap." Evey said the smile on her face gone and she bit the bottom of her lip in her frustration.
Could this day get any worse?

Starus didn't even get a chance to see the zoomer. He just knew it was going really fast. He sat up groaning and sighed,"We got a speeding zoomer heading east bound from my location," he said on his radio, sounding like he really didn't want to deal with it.
"Copy that, we have a couple units in that direction," Said a woman's voice on the radio.
He then took a look back to the ottsel, but he was gone.

Johnny didn't go too far. He live on that roof. In a small corner he made a make shift house out of tin and wood where he laid there staring at the sky. "One day...One day they will o'll be dead. It's comin', I'ah can feel it."
He was referring to humans. His hatred for them was beyond anything anyone can even begin to fathom.
He too noticed the zoomer speeding by, "I'ah hope you crash a'and burn." He cursed whoever it was.

Evey was silent, all of the previous excitement gone. She herd the sirens ring in her ear and the hellcats fallowing behind. The adrenalin was rushing threw her veins, the course to the bar that she had set before her was blanked from her mind. All that mattered now was survival.
She banked and swerved, turning at random intersections trying desperately to get the KGs of her tail. Mick would kill me if he saw what I was doing right now. Evey spun the zoomer around and went right under the chasing hellcats knowing that there bulk would give her a head start. He might get to see me sooner that he would like.

After Pyro left, Starus had a little bone to pick with the little a**hole ottsel that threw him off the roof. He got up and rolled his head to rack his neck. With a few pops, he run back up the wall and climbed back on top of the ceiling.
There he was. Smoking his cigarette. Starus stood straight and walked to him with poise and pride. "Well then. Let's say we put pass that little incident and allow me to ask you a few questions.
Right then the ottsel gave him the finger without even a glance at Starus. "Ok then. Where were you within the last hour?"
Once again... the finger. Starus looked to the ground and sighed, "Look. This is an official KG investigation. I need your cooperation in order to solve this murder, so please. Were you up here within the passed hour?"

Johnny blew out some smoke and flicked the ashes off his cigarette. "You da'amn KG are a persistent lil bunch, ain't ya?," He said with a smart a** tone nd a laugh, "Yeah, I'ah saw that fella shoot that punk down there. What of it?"
"Why, shood I'ah care fer some idiot gittin' shot b'ah another dumb ass? All I'ah see is just one less human to look at." With a snicker,"He did me favor, heh eh." He took another drag of his cigarette before finishing it and throwing it to Starus's feet.

Sonya, who was another ottsel on the roof, but on the other side, noticed the other two and went over to them. "Excuse me sir, I couldn't help but overhear that you were asking about the murder that happened recently. It was a woman, she was dressed in a cloak, so I couldn't see her face, and she had a sniper so she was able to shoot at a a far distance. I hoped that helps you in your investigation." She told Starus.

Neko listened, and felt something of a disturbing feeling forming in her gut.
" Evey got herself in trouble. Can you hear the sirens?" She shook her head.
" Mick is not gonna like this, and now I have to finish this without the water." She gave an apologetic look to Rawling.
" I hope you have a good tolerance for pain because this is going to hurt like hell. I have to burn away the infection before I can seal it and well . . . . lets just say it's not going to feel good." She started to burn away the infection, trying not to do any damage to any vital veins.
" So far so good, only a moment longer." She finished and closed the wound, trying to leave no trace of it.

And there is was again. The agonizing pain. Of course he screamed and squirmed a bit but it seemed like it took longer that it should, "Look! It doesn't have to be perfect! AHH! Just get the bone in place,UGH!! And heal!!"
He didn't mean to yell at the girl but damn it hurt.

Starus tipped his hat to the little female ottsel. "Thank you miss. I'm sure your input will be valuable."
He respectfully walked to her and gave her a card. "If you hear anything else you let me know, ok?"

Johnny snorted and shot straight up onto his feet.
"Now, Wh'ah the hell are you helpin' this g'ah? It's not like yer anythin' to him." Johnny was both disappointed and slightly angry at the female ottsel.
Johnny's bad history with humans gave him his own perspective on them in which he thinks every other ottsel should hold. Lest they be more like him.

"No problem." Sonya said and accepted the card. "He seems like a nice guy." She told the other ottsel. Besides, I want to see who killed that officer just as much as he does." She wondered if the female was an assassin or part of the underground. She would have to ask Krew about it later.

Starus nodded his head "Thank you." He then looked at Johnny with a look of disbelief and resentment.
He climbed back down to the ground hopped on his Hellcat and drove off.

Johnny has getting angry at the KG when Starus gave him that look,"Wh'uht the hell are you lookin' at!? You got a problem!?" But the KG was already climbing down.
He laid back down on his make shift bed and blackets and clothes and put his hands behind his head. "So wh'ah would you care fer sum human gettin' killed anyway? Even still, if its a murder, wh'ah git involve at all? Its not l'ah'ke you knew that person." He acknowledged Sonya.

"Hey buddy. First, lighten up, they're just humans. I don't know why you have so much hatred for them. Not all of them are bad, I even hang out with one, he saved my life. Second, I only get involved in something if it looks exciting. I like adventures." Sonya told him.
