Evey stared down the street her hand gripped tightly around her staff. A her eyes were fiery with determination as she followed the direction she last saw the dust trail peering down every street and ally. Then she spotted the collection of people in the street.

"Hey you with the face!" She said jogging over to the group. "You little jerk." She said poking the boy with her staff.

Starus showed up in his Hellcat. The exited the vehicle irritated but not angry. His red uniform and KG emblem stood out with everything around him.

He quickly had his eye on Kai and pointed his finger,"You! Boy!" He quickly walked up to him. "What is your business stirring up trouble with my son?"

[Neki]

Neko hurried, trying to catch up with Evey. She heard someone yell, and her best friend dissappeared.
" Dammit Evey" She cursed following her friend.
When she finally caught up, a group of people had fomed. Neko slapped her forehead and groaned
"What now? Can this day get anyworse?"

Starus nodded to Pyro, "Yes. He merely asked for a drink and gave him a hard time about how he was KG. Spitting out every stereo type that people have come up with. "Well let me say something to you boy," He turned to Kai scornfully, "Erase all you think you know of KG! When you see this seal," He pointed to the Phoenix emblem on his shoulder,"Know that we are not you enemy, as many of the ordinary members of KG has made themselves to be. We are friend and expect to be treated as such. Do I make myself clear."

His eyes were calm but stern enough to pierce through a human soul with a burning intent of getting a point across. Starus was offended that someone treated the last remaining KG regiment with such disrespect and cruelty. Sure, Kai might not be from around that part of Haven City. But he had to know friend from foe.

"Hehe, sorry. Didn't realize who you were. Besides, it wasn't my fault, I just asked the wrong questions and they chased me. Just curious about a murder, that's all. Now can I go now? I have a job and I'm going to be late." Kai said quickly, he wanted to get away as soon as possible, otherwise Torn wouldn't be very happy.

Evey was confused with the event that had just taken place. So that is why the Krimzon Guards back there had their undies in bunch. Evey thought with a smile, but she quickly remembered the boy. She let out a sigh her anger had left her in the confusion that had come with the KGs appearance.

Evey turned and left the group without a word. She gave herself a quick mental note of the boys appearance he would be on her list. A quick breeze ruffled her hair as she looked to see Neko rushing up to her a concerned look set upon her face.

"He stepped on my toe." Evey said hoping no more of a explanation was needed for her random actions.

"Wait. A murder?" He asked Kai. "If there was a murder I think I have the right to know about it, sir."

This was KG business after all. If there was a murder he was to report it. Or at least investigate it. "Please, give me the details."

"Hmm....judging by the tats, I'd say it was a lieutant. Here I am, minding my own business when the guy dies right in front of me! Thought it was a heart attack at first, but the bullet said otherwise." Kai said. "I thought you would have heard about it. It happened this morning."

Neko looked at he best friend.
" I don't care if he whacked you you over the hed with a sheleilee stick! You really need to slow down, I don't have blue eco like my dad." She lookeda t Evey, a cross look on her face

"Last I saw, the body was being carried off by someone, didn't get a good look at their face." Kai said. "But I can show you where it happened. Come on, follow me." He headed into the direction where he had last seen the dead KG.
