A muse is a small animal in the first Jak game. Animals age faster then humans, so 2-3 years for an animal is between young-adulthood to mid adulthood.

Though for the record, "Muse" was only used to describe the animal since the artist gathered inspiration from it. There really is no official name for the type of animal, so everyone just calls it a "Muse".
