Genesis made it back to his rock hut, if he would call it that, by night fall. Every fiber of his being ached, as if he hadn't exercised in a long, long while. The Metal Head slumped into the make-shift shelter and curled up on the ground, sand seeping into his coat. He was thinking about today as he kept his eyes locked on the entrance to his abode. Metal Heads had attacked him on sight, followed by that... that... that thing. Whatever that Metal Head was, it knew Genesis, the look it had towards the beast said it all. It was strong, but not strong enough.
Genesis eventually fell asleep, his mind racing, the night growing, and the cold about to set in. What was in store for him the next day? Who knows?
