What to do what to do...

So I've finally gotten around to wanting to rp some more but I notice there are few people actually rping. Those that are doing some rping though, are off in prp. I've posted up on Learning How to Fly and just waiting for a response but looks like I may be waiting a while...
So is their any games to jump in on! Anyone want to start a game, or continue one. I can give a recap on all thats happened in Learning How to Fly since it hasn't gone too far. Wouldn't mind keeping that one going or getting another one going or something. What do any of you say? Wanna get some stuff going again?

Recap, Iv'e always wanted to join that RP but was kinda lazy.

Okay, recap, lets see...well we currently have two stories going in that one. There is the main story and a small side story that just started but I don't think it will go far, but I'll get to that in a bit.
The main story, has involved my characters Martin and Skye, darius1's character Cardian, neferti's Ku and Pyron, and it even has you in there for a bit db with Benjamin.

So far the story has been as so. Martin has been researching flight to try and help a flightless Skye learn how to...well fly... While at the Haven City Library he meets Ku, which is a short lived encounter when Cardian enters the library and tries to capture him. Turns out Martin and Skye are kind of wanted, being escaped science experiments and all.

At about this point the entire library is gassed by some underground soldiers, who capture Cardian. Martin passes out as does Ku but not before he sees a massive blue beast carrying off Martin.
Upon waking Martin finds himself back safe at home wrapped up in Skye's wings inside an old abandoned factory. Cardian on the other hand wakes to being held captive by the underground, and Ku, well, he somehow finds himself in the house of Pyron.

At this point, it pretty much involves Martin blowing up his oven and making Skye very sad when the ham Martin was baking flies out the window into the street. Cardian fights his way out of the undergrounds base, who were going to kill him for being a traitor and defecting to the KG. Ku on the other hand has a little less exciting morning, since everyone was knocked out for a day, and tells Pyron about the big blue monster he saw. This gets Pyron excited and so he and Ku set off monster hunting.

Martin and Skye on the other hand have to replace their oven, and their ham, so they set off to work the street corner with their musical talents, using Martin's guitar and Skye's voice to pull in some money.
Right when Martin and Skye are leaving Benjamin enters the scene, having heard Martin's oven exploding. This brings him to investigate the factory around the same time as Ku and Pyron who witness the the bang and the flying ham, (and they say pigs can't fly!) Everyone somehow miss each other though no one was trying to avoid the other, which was kind of amusing.

Okay, back to Cardian. After finally clearing out the small Underground garrison, Cardian finds a young girl who was in the Underground base. Its never gone into detail why she was their and what affiliation she has with the Underground but Cardian decides to this sickly child to the Haven City Orphanage. This is where the little side story starts and Ezekiel makes a small cameo if want to call it that. Not sure how long lived this side story will be or what relevance it will have to the over all plot but we shall see. Here though Cardian meets Ezekiel where some of this dislike for the KG is shown. Cardian tries to make amends but Ezekiel is not impressed and want the orphanage to have little to do with the KG in anyway, though the head nun has accepted a donation from Cardian to help with the repairs of the orphanage.

Now back to the main story, or whats left of it! Martin and Skye finish up their street corner duet, involving a visible Martin on the corner and Skye in an old run down building singing into some pipes that project her voice over Martin's head. Martin notices Pyron and Ku looking around and decides its time to call it a day. Leaving the street he beings heading back home, Skye keeping to the roof tops above. Skye stops to observe a large metal door that leads to Deadtown though, and to Martin's dismay, want to go into dead town to find free parts for the oven to save them a little cash. She even already figured a way to get the key...

And that is the story up till now! Feel free to jump on in! I posted last so I'm waiting for a response before I can continue! All are welcome to hop on in!

Hmm, I might not mind throwing Zrion and his squad (or perhaps a whole unit of everyone's favorite semi-heroes) into the Rp for a little seasoning. Any suggestions?

That would do good seeing as Martin and Skye are fugitives on the loose, being some of Gorturo's experiments...
I'm not trying to make it a big action rp, like most of mine are, but into something more of an adventure mystery kind of thing. I'm trying something new. There will be action but I don't want it like every time you turn around there is a bad guy. No need to make it like Beginning of the End, hehe.
But yea, dark if there is someone that could add to the suspense in places it would be great! Darius was doing some stuff with KG for a little while but I think he may have dropped off...plus it may be an excellent point of entry for any of your KG once I knock out that KG that Martin and Skye are looking at. But that wont be for a few more posts and I need others to jump in so I can get their...
Actually after looking through your characters you could maybe jump Lythron or Ragnar into this rp and use either, or both, as a hunter or tracker hired by the KG to bring in Martin and Skye. Would be interesting since I've never seen you use them too terrible much!

Hmm, bounty hunters basically? It's not a bad idea, but personally I can't see the KG resorting to bounty hunters, y'know, kind of a pride thing. I'll think on it, though. Now, I won't just have the Special Operations KG magically drop in the second Martin and Skye take out the KG. Even Zrion isn't QUITE that amazing, hehe.

I did have a thought though. Maybe they wouldn't quite take out that KG they're looking at, maybe his armor would buy him just enough time to call it in. Something Zrion hears. He might see Skye flying off just long enough to take a few shots with his rifle. Failing that, Zrion might call in a few of his buddies and go on a man(monster)hunt. So yeah, progression. Maybe it could all lead up to a massive standoff at the end, between Martin, Skye, some supporters, and the KG/Bounty hunters. Not so much a fighting Rp as it is tracking and taking shots at each other every so often. Thoughts?

No, no, I wasn't expecting any dropping out of the sky or anything of that sort. What I was thinking is that after they knock out the KG the lack of communication would sound an alert that would get Zrion attention or something similar that may bring an investigation to order or something. Or maybe he does call it in, not sure yet.
As for the flying away part. Skye has yet to learn how to fly That is what one of the main plot objectives of this rp is, to get her to fly. That's one reason why Martin was at the library trying to find information on flight.

Hmm, I'll keep an eye on things, and if I see a cue anywhere I'll take the opportunity to drop in some progression!
