Wolfs Rain. . . Inuyasha. . . Maybe Bleach. . . But if anything watch Wolf's Rain. Its sad but it also has a good plot and such. It is also much much shorter than Inuyasha and Bleach.

HURP. Ghost in the Shell DERP.
UMMMMMMM- How 'bout Fooly Cooly &/or Moribito? Fooly Cooly is way more action/crazy and short ( only like 6 episodes I think ) but Moribito made me cry buckets ( But so did 60% of the animes I watch derp. ) and Moribito is more story-driven action set in Medieval Japanish.

I advise some classics such as Trigun, Full Metal Alchemist, Gundum Wing, and a not so classic Soul Eater. These are the few anime that I have ever truly enjoyed. Never can really get into an anime since as an artist all I see when I watch anime is every single way someone can screw up human proportions!

If you want to get into anime then the first thing that you must consider is your preferences. Anime is huge, and unlike the vast majority of American cartoons actually has a full listing of genres. So my question for you before I make any recommendations; what genres are you interested in?

Well im really interested in fantasy, scifi and vampires, watched a pretty awesome movie a while back called tales from earthsea, i think it was Japanese with English subs. I have decided to give bleach a go though due multiple recommendations, plus i like the soul reaper thing.

Well im really interested in fantasy, scifi and vampires, watched a pretty awesome movie a while back called tales from earthsea, i think it was Japanese with English subs. I have decided to give bleach a go though due multiple recommendations, plus i like the soul reaper thing. Ah, Tales From Earthsea, very good movie. It was directed by the novice son of an absolutely amazing directer named Miyazaki. If you liked Earthsea then you will really like Miyazaki's works: Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, NausicaƤ, Ponyo, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and more Bleach is a good series, though I will warn you, it is extremely long. I'm keeping up with the Dubbed version and am up to episode 212, Subbed is even farther and still going. I'm not too familiar with Vampire series since I've seen very little of them, though I know that Blood+ is a very good series. I've heard good things about Hellsing, Trinity Blood, and Vampire Hunter D. For Sci-fi; Appleseed, Appleseed: Ex Machina, Blassreiter, Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, Darker than Black, Eureka Seven, Full Metal Panic!, Ghost in the Shell, Gundam 00, Gundam Wing, Gurren Lagann, Macross, Trigun, and more. Also, a lot of that list also fits Fantasy. Fantasy not already listed; Black Lagoon, Death Note, Fate/stay night, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Gungrave, Karas, Kaze no Stigma, Ouran High School Host Club, R.O.D ( Read or Die), Rurouni Kenshin ( Samurai X), Samurai Champloo, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Tears to Tiara, Tsubasa Chronicle, xxxHOLiC, Yu Yu Hakusho, and more. I know that I just gave you a rather large list of series/movies. If you want me to explain any of these series feel free to ask.
