Cardian smashed the last of his captors then with malice in his eyes he shot the last of them. But he found something which shocked him into silence, it was a teenage girl around thirteen sitting behind a table tears streaming down her face. Her hand where over her ears, Cardian knelt and pried them away ''shhhh shhhh it's okay i wont hurt you''. She flung herself at him sobbing hysterically. '' it's okay girl, i can take you somewhere safe don't worry''. He stood and lifted her with him. He knew of an old orphanage run by nuns in haven that he could take her too. He walked to the solid steel door that he had searched for for so long. He stepped into the cool air of haven and as luck was with him he was only five minutes away from the orphanage. He began to walk at a swift pace right to the door passing decrepit ,run down buildings on the way. He rapped sharply on the door and awaited an answer.

Ezekiel yawned, mouth wide, showing off dozens of sharp pointy teeth. He had recieved little sleep durning the night, trying to fix a ruptured water main from filling the basement and flooding the building. It had taken most of the night and he was just now getting it fixed. He had tried to turn off the water but when he turned the handle to stopped the pipes it broke off, adding another hole to a problem. So he had to fix most of the pipework, while they gushed water. He was now beyond soaked to the bone and a large trail of water could be seen behind him. And yet, he still had work to do. He needed buckets, several buckets, to get the water out of the basement. That by itself would take several hours of work. But for now, it could wait. He need to to get a bite to eat and answer the door. Let loose another long yawn, he grabbed the hand and began to open the door. As it swung open he began to realize something. He wan't wearing his cloak! Without it he looked more, at first glance, like a metal head then anything. Large, scaly, rows of sharp pointy teeth, though a metal head he was not. He needed his cloak, no one except the nuns and the children here had seen him without it. And now he had this! The door swinging open, him soaked to the bone, completely exposed, and yawning wide, displaying rows of intimedating teeth. Could it get worse. Yes it could! As the door opened he began to see the armor of the people he despised so much beginning to appear. The armor of a Krimson Guard soldier. As the door finished swinging open he stood there, feathers and scales soaked, mouth wide, and a monkey wrench in hand thinking, Oh crap.

Cardian stared up at the creature. His eyes darted to it's forehead. ''Not a metalhead'' he thought. He suddenly remembered. He had been briefed on this thing last year. It was some mad scientists experiment. He had assumed that said scientist was in the Barons Employ. This thing was said to have massive strength, but it appeared to still have a human personality as it was not trying to bite his head off with those huge white teeth. He looked at the girl. She had fainted. '' look'' he said to Ezekiel '' i just wanted to help this kid. OK, I wont cause any trouble though you look like you could use sime help with your plumbing ''

Ku looked around the old cobwebs and flashed his light at every sound. All he's found so far is a few rats and roaches. Nothing major that could help him find his friend. Ku called in,"I don't see anything around here. How about you Pyron?"
Pyron chuckled and said,"You wouldn't believe what I've found! Come here, quick! I'm up on the roof." Pyron bent down and picked up a couple of feathers. Feathers that were too large for a natural bird. Something...the size of a monster!

With a look of complete bewilderment Ezekiel stared at the KG. He wasn't going to try and capture him. He wasn't going to bring him in to be tortured more. All he wanted to do was hand this little girl over to the orphanage. Ezekiel was in compete shock as to what was happening. The people he had grown to hate so much and one was actually being nice to him! Part of him wanted to bash in this guys face for what was done to him but another part of him just wanted to say...thank you. Stunned Ezekiel just stood in the doorway, not sure what to say, his mouth working back and forth as he tried to form words but he didn't know what to say to this, his mind conflicted. Martin strolled through the alley behind the factory, his guitar slung over his back. His stomach growled as he walked, reminding him of his missed breakfast. He was greatly saddened by this and the thought at how hard it would be to get a new oven also haunted his thoughts. With a sigh he did the only thing he could do, go and play his guitar and hope he got a good crowd. He travel on until he reached a familiar place. It was an old dilapidated building on the edge of a park. Pipe and beams stuck out of it where aging supports had given way. This is where he came to play, and this is were Skye could hide and be near. It was even better because some of the pipes came out right over where he played. With these pipes Skye used them like megaphones, singing at one end and letting her voice ring out on the other. What was better was that most of the pipes went so far into the building it was almost impossible to pin point her location, her voice echoing all through out its interior. Alright, I'm here, Martin spoke with his mind. Took you long enough...Martin said nothing as he walked through the front door of the old building and pushed an old wood crate out onto the sidewalk. Sitting down he tossed his cap on the ground to catch any money tossed his way. Then he began to tune his guitar, picking at one string then another, slowly tuning it until it sounded perfect. Finally after a few minutes he was ready. And when I mean ready he wasted no time and went right into his first song. The guitar strummed out amazing clear tones as he played and his voice match right with it. His clear voice and the amazing sounds coming from his guitar washed over the people passing by. A few tossed in a coin, some two, a few even stopped for a while, placing a few bills in his cap. There were a few onlookers that stopped by that knew of Martin and what was sure to come after. Song after song Martin played, and when his cap grew full he emptied it into his pockets. Then finally he needed a break. His mouth was dry and he needed a breather. People around began to move a way when one called out, "Where's the lady!" Martin grinned, They're hollering for ya. Reaching down he took a swig of water from a bottle of water he had brought with him. As he did he notice some children eying him. They were in rags and seemed thin. Struck with pity for the two lost soul he reached in his pocket and removed a small sum of money. What are you doing? Skye asked, perplexed and annoyed. Martin reached out with the money, the children moving closer as they saw what was in his hand. Its called generosity little sis.But that is our money, not theirs! If they want some why do they not work for there own.Frustration began to flow through their mental link as Martin handed one of the children the money with a warm smile. You know Skye, I would hope that someone would do this for us. But sometimes all one can do is what others wont. I am just giving a helping hand where help is needed, that is all.Slowly the frustration left, little by little, leaving behind remorse. I am sorry Martin. I do not always see eye to eye with you sometimes. Sometimes you just about drive me crazy, still I suppose these are the things you...I think I just came up with a new song! That's good, there's a few people here that really want to hear you!Follow my lead then.A moment later Martin was strumming away on his guitar as a beautiful and clear voice rang out through the pipes over head. People cheer and applauded, some even called for an auncor! Money was thrown into his cap left and right, quickly over flowing. Looks like your a hit!

Cardian stared as the thing started to work its jaw back and forth ''please don't eat me'' he said beneath his breath. ''uh shouldn't you get inside or something ya know in case somebody sees you or something?'' he said again louder rubbing the back of his head with his real hand. He didn't really know how to interact with this thing.

"Ezekiel, who is it?" a woman's voice rang from behind the the orphanage guardian. A nun appeared from behind Ezekiel, looking around his large frame. She looked at the soldier for a moment then place a hand on Ezekiel's arm. The creature jumped, startling the nun who was not expecting such a reaction. Ezekiel snapped out of his daze for a moment. He slowly shifted to the side to let the nun pass. The nun eyed him, worried, then turned her attention to the Cardian. "I'm sorry, he is not normally like this. I am Sister Tabatha, please come in." The nun motioned for Cardian to enter, then began to walk down a small hallway into a clean but very old living area. "How can we be of service to you. No doubt you are here to drop off this child. We see it too often. The Krimson Guard have no care for life which ultimately leaves these children homeless. Almost all of the children here are a result of the Guards blatant disregard for life!" The nun was starting to become red in the face but then stopped. "I'm sorry, I have a tendency for being very blunt. Please excuse my ranting but you, you seem different. Your not like the other Guards are you? We have never had one bring in a child before. Most of the time we find the child, or some stranger brings them in off the street."

Cardian was still a little dazed, but he hefted the girl over his shoulder and edged nervously past Ezekiel. He followed the nun into the living area, it was clean with a few wooden chairs and an old coffee table, but he could see the ragged edges, this place could use a little help. He sat the girl by the door, her head leaned to the side in blessed unconsciousness. Hearing the nuns comment he turned to and smiled a little. "thats correct sister my associates in the guard are usually prone to vulgar and dishonorable practices''. he suddenly heard a wracking cough from behind. The girl was coughing up blood '' oh crap'' he said rushing to her. He sank tendrils of green Eco int her chest and found the cause. "sister!, shes got pneumonia! fetch a healer'' he began to try and ease the disease but his Eco was not strong enough ''hurry sister, hurry''.

((Sorry for not really being in the rp for a while >.< Been really busy!)) Ku reached the roof and saw the feather's spread out all across the roof. He said,"What the heck was up here?" Pyron turned to him with a grin, still holding onto the feather. Pyron said,"This..this belongs to a monster. Whatever you saw downtown must live here." He looked down at the floor, looking for some sort of marks. He continued,"If I'm correct, the monster would be able to fly and land, leaving some sort of traces on the ground from its claws..." Ku nodded his head and looked on the floor, looking for the same thing. He noticed something at the edge of the building and moved some fathers out of the way, revealing large scratches on the ground. He said,"You mean, something like that?" Pyron walked over and knelt down on the ground, feeling over the scratches and then looking in the direction which they were engraved. Pyron chuckled and grabbed onto Ku's shoulder. He said,"My boy...you've got us in the right direction! Let's get to the Zoomer and follow the beast!" Ku nodded and followed him down to the Zoomer and hopped into it as they zoomed off in the direction of the claw marks.

"Ezekiel! Go get sister Mary!" Tabatha yelled. A moment later Ezekiel's large form went speeding past the door down the hall of the orphanage to the kitchen where sister Mary was preparing lunch for the children. A moment later he returned, just about carrying the startled nun. Though slightly startled the nun saw the child and ran to her aid. A green glow surrounded her hands as she knelt down. Placing her hands on the girls chest she slowly worked the green eco though her body, finding the illness and destroying it. After several long minutes the nun withdrew and stood. "Alright, I have done what I can. All that is left now is to wait and bed rest." Looking over at Ezekiel, picked up the girl and deposited her into his arms, please go and ready a bed in the sick room and leave her with the nuns there. She'll be safe and sound there.

Martin strummed away on his guitar, taking turns singing with Skye. Sometimes they even sung a duet. For most of the morning they did this. Passerbys deposited money into the cap, slowly bringing a nice bit of income for the two. Though they would never have enough to replace the oven then could at least gets some parts to fix it. At the rate they were going they may even be able to replace the ham they blew up! During a tune that Skye was singing Martin noticed a pair of men going by in a zoomer. They seemed to be looking for something, but what? Martin watched them from the corner of his eye as they came. Finishing up the last parts of the song Martin's mind reached out to Skye, Um, no one saw you coming here, right? Not that I know of. Well then I suggest we call it a day and go find some parts for our dead oven! Martin said mentally. "Well folks it was fun but we have to call it a day! Thank you for your help!" Taking his guitar Martin threw it around over his shoulders then knelt down and gathered up the money. Placing it all in his pockets Martin returned his cap to his head then checking around to see if anyone was watching moved into the old abandoned building behind him. It was dusty and run down. Beams and rubble from a caved-in ceiling made the inside cluttered and difficult to navigate. But with a little work Martin made his way to a far back room where the large pipe that ran though the building ended. There he found a waiting Skye. "We did good right?" Martin smiled wide, "We did better then good we did great!" "Well then, let us be on then! I want another ham soon!" Martin laughed as he walked through the back of the building and began to head down the street as Skye jumped up and clawed her ways to the top of the demolished building, leaving large gouges from her claws in the wall. Martin began to walk down the street with a grin on his face while Skye followed from the roofs above. What a great start to the day!
