Era: Baron's Corruption
Name: Yvaine (Pronounced E-Vain)

Appearance: The first thing you will notice about Yvaine is the faint white glowing around her body. Yvaine is a mix between a Muse and a human. Therefore, she has Muse features mixed along with her human side. One being her mysterious, ominous glow around her at all times. It fades with her emotions though. If she is happy, she glows the color more and more brightly. When she becomes sad, her glow dampers. Yvaine's body is skinny and lanky like a Muse. She has long arms and long, skinny legs that bring her to a height of 5'11. Her body has no curve or figure to it, and instead she is as thin and flat as a 2 by 4. Her face is long and skinny with two triangular-shaped ears sharing a head with her long, light blond with a tint of gray, hair. The gray blond hair is long and poker straight. It comes down over the middle of her back and almost to the end of her back. Her hair also covers her large forehead with dramatic square bangs. Her ears are gray fur with faint spots of purple in them. Her tails matches her ears pretty well and she tries to hide both well. Her eyes resemble a Muse exactly. They are large and take up most of her face, appearing as two large orbs of dusty purple. Her skin is quite pale. Almost white, similar to the fur on a Muse's belly. The rest of her body appears to be human. But across her body, and this will be the reason why her skin is so white, is a thin layer of white fur. She hates it.
Yvaine wears clothes like a normal person. Her clothes are very plain and simple. She wears a silver shirt that is very soft material like rayon. It has long sleeves and comes just to her belly button. The shirt has a hood attached to it, which allow her to hide her ears. When her hood is up, all you can see is her face, and a few strands of her hair coming across her shoulders. She wears a long, light purple skirt that comes just a little below her knees. The skirt has two large slits up the side, with make it flow and easy to jump in. Under the skirt, she covers up her bare legs with thin, silver leggings that almost match her shirt. She usually hides her tail under the skirt, but it can breath through her leggings. Yvaine accessorizes herself with gold chains of coins around her skirt and lots of gaudy rings on her hands to cover up her fur and the difference of her and a normal human. On her feet, which look quite human but are somewhat long due to her Muse genes, she wears small purple slippers. They don't hold up against the weather that well. But they are easy to run in and she prefers to be barefoot most of the time anyway.
Posture: Yvaine's posture is very bendy and lanky like her body. She can curl herself up in a ball and stretch like a muse. Her body is also very balanced though and she is very aware of her body.
Personality: Yvaine's brain is different than any other. Even though her parents nearly fried it when she was an infant, she's never been quite normal. Yvaine can gather and remember information very well. She may not believe everything she hears and it takes her awhile to make a full decision. She likes to study and research things and she will nearly like anything and everything you put in front of her. She is easily entertained and distracted. Yvaine is very deadly shy though. Pretty much because she is scared of the whole world except for a few trusted KG and different Underground members. Yvaine is a sweet girl though, and likes to help people. When she isn't scared they're going to shank her or anything. And because of her shyness, she can easily hide in the shadows and lie her way out of things very quickly. She really doesn't have a problem with lying as long as it's for a good cause.
Occupation: Yvaine plays both sides of the fence. Krimzon Guard trained her since she was little and the Guard believes that she is on their side. She works as a Krimzon Guard Spy to their eye and gives them some information about the Underground. The information will be false or information that doesn't really matter though. She protects them because she is also an Underground Agent. She hides that though.
Abilities/Skills: Yvaine is very quick on her feet and has cat-like reflexes. If she is falling, she will always land on her feet and she is very well balanced. She can also jump amazing distances.
Powers: Jynx zapped someone once and injected Yvaine with a simple amount of Yellow Basic Eco to defend herself.

Story about them/History: How would you like to have a pair of crazy scientists as parents? Yvaine knows exactly how it feels. Her mother and father both worked for the Baron at one time in their lives. Her parents were innocent, sweet, scientists, yearning to make the world a better place. They were mostly nature scientists and they loved the animals of the Precursor world. They would go out and scout new areas for the Baron and study plants that may help with healing, weapons, etc. Once they went out with the Baron to scout for a new poisonous tree with fruit some KG's claimed have killed some of their officers. While out, a Muse came out of the hiding of a tree. Her mother walked over and wanted to take it home and nurse it since it was obvious it was just a baby. The Baron didn't like it disrupting his patrols so he shot the small creature. Her mother snapped. And with her mother breaking down, her father conveniently followed in her footsteps.
They left the Baron's practices, keeping the dead corpse of the fallen Muse. The Baron didn't want them to leave. He valued their brains and they were a huge asset to his rule. He ordered KG to watch their house to make sure they never leave the city and maybe in time they would change their mind and come back. For a year, they plotted revenge and her mother became pregnant. Her parents saw this as an opportunity to give a Muse a life. To make up for the one that was shot. Her mother didn't even want a daughter or a son. She wanted a Muse. She hated babies and her father hates them just as much. Their daughter, Yvaine was born. He spent almost a year preparing a machine to mash the DNAs and soon Yvaine would be a beautiful recreation of a Muse. Well, the experiment didn't go very well. It hurt Yvaine's brain horribly and her body started to change and morph in ways it wasn't supposed to. Her parents used a small formula of Dark Eco, and other Ecos to help the morphing, to help her morph, but it went terribly wrong. KGs broke in when they heard her mother screaming because the plan went wrong.
Her father and mother were both shot on sight and Yvaine was taken back to the Fortress. They handed her over to scientists, who they thought could reverse the process. They couldn't and without finishing the experiment, she would die. But they saw her as an asset. For months, they worked with a screaming infant, shifting in a Muse day after day. Finally, at the age of three, they had perfected her form. She couldn't speak but she was extremely beautiful for a Muse. They kept her. It was almost like she was a mascot for them. Her brain couldn't mature like a human and she had more animal instincts.
Yvaine lived at the Fortress for many years in a cell. She didn't know any better, so it was home to her. They didn't treat her like the other prisoners because she came willingly. It was the only thing she had ever learned and she didn't know any better. Finally, at the age of ten, a scientist, named Jynx Killan, got her to start talking. Even though she had the IQ of a kindergartner, she could learn quickly. And she took things in quite well. Jynx worked with her on many occasions. Jynx lied to her about her whole life. Yvaine doesn't know her parents were shot or killed. From what they have told her, her parents were surrogate volunteers for her experiment.
When she was twelve, she started to talk to another prisoner whose cell was right next to hers. The wall was thin and she could hear very well with her ears, so she talked to him. He was a man named Tymon. Someone who had been apart of the Underground and gotten captured. He told her what was really going on and what was happening and the world outside. It was her closest friend. It took her awhile to take all of his information in, but she considered it and always kept it in the back of her mind.
Tymon was kept at the Fortress for around four months, but one day he didn't come back to his cell and Yvaine doesn't know what happened to him. She was hurt when Tymon disappeared and was sad for a few months. But Yvaine soon got over it; determined to find this Underground one day and find Tymon.
One day, Jynx Killan, her beloved scientists said the Baron had a job for Yvaine. Yvaine was around 15. She would go spy on a group called the Underground, trying to plot against the Baron. Record where she saw them and who they were. Yvaine wasn't stupid. She took the mission and was allowed outside the Fortress to explore the world outside. But that was the last time she would ever call the Fortress her home. Yvaine hid her ears and tail in clothes and listened to people around town to hear any mention of the Underground, and sure enough, they had safe houses everywhere.
Yvaine found some underground agents and quickly befriended them. The Underground agents were kinder to her than the KG were. Yvaine started to feed them information about the KG and their whereabouts. In return, the Underground let her become an agent and gave her money to buy a home. Yvaine now lives in a small house in the Slums. Whenever she has to report to the KG, she feeds them false information about the Underground. So far, so good.
