Name: Martin
Sex: Male

Appearance: Martin is your run of the mill kind of guy. He doesn’t have any crazy hair style, tattoos, or deformities. Short brown covers the top of his head, usually lightly jelled if he has the money to buy some, and has the money to keep his hair cut. Sometimes he thinks his parents dropped him, head first, into a bag of miracle grow! It just seems to grow so fast!
He is rather tall standing straight at around 6’ 3” and is nothing but legs. With a rather thin body he sometimes resembles a toothpick and is even called that by his friends, the few that he may have.
Green eyes look out from beneath a deep brow with thick eye brows shading them.
When its cool out he wears just jeans, boots, and a short sleeve shirt but when things get cold or the weather gets bad he puts on a white hoody, a dark green coat that is battered and stained, its edges frayed from use, that fits over the hoody, and a duckbill cap.
Posture: Relaxed when he is not doing anything. If in aggressive situation he holds a very combative stance ready to use his bo staff to its full potential.
Personality: Loves to have fun and makes jokes constantly. Though sometimes he can be a wise crack he is very modest and humble. If you have a chance to befriend him, he will stick through any difficulty and try to help out any way he can, if he knows how.
He likes to think things through and not jump into situations. But when a challenge may arise he can be rather stubborn and not stop until he has overcome it, especially if it’s something that threatens the well being of those he knows.
Occupation: Usually a messenger unless he can find other jobs, unfortunately he has difficulty getting money which mean a lot of cold night and hungry stomachs. He has been known to sit out on the street and pick on his guitar. This sometimes annoys Skye since she would love to sing but sometimes Martin plays in places she can't go.
Abilities/Skills: Self-taught bo staff, prefering to stay nonleathal but if need be can add the extra force needed to kill. Has limited fighting experience but has dabbled in one or two martial arts.

Relationships: Thanks to the experiments that Dr.Gorturo Navan put him through and the the length of time he had been imprisoned by the mad scientist, Martin lost most of his friend. Either now they considered him to much of a freak or they just don't want to believe it's him. His parents still live but he rarely sees them afraid that the KG may use them to find him.
The only real relationship and close family that he has left is why his old friend now consider him a freak.
Martin, thanks to Dr.Navan's experiments, has made him mentally connected and mentally depended upon a creature that Dr.Navan had created, Skye Cloudrunner. The closest thing to a dragon one could find...or create. Together this pair are a force to be reckoned with, there connection allowing them to coordinate maneuvers with pin point accuracy!
The only down side is the mental dependency. This means that with out the others mind near by and/or functioning the other can not survive. If one dies the other will die shortly after, their body basically going into shock. If one goes to far away they will eventually supcome to shock as well, brought on by stress to their bodies. They also feel each others pain and at time if a wound is bad enough the nerves in the others body will react on the body that was not hurt. For instance if Skye was struck hard enough on the arm, some of the capillary veins in Martin may rupture in that area from his muscles violently contracting, giving the appearance that he had just been struck. If the other breaks his/her leg the one who is uninjured my loose function of that limb for a short amount of time, over come by the pain in that part of the body.
Since neither of the two have any close family anymore Martin now calls Skye little sister since she is actually younger then him. On the other hand, Skye call him little brothers, just because she is much larger then him.
Story about them/History:
Like with many of the people that Dr. Navan has ever done experiments on, it has unusually meant someone being kidnapped. It was no different for Martin.
But before his ultimate kidnapping Martin was like every other guy. He had a decent home with a good family, good friends, and even worked at one of the local mini-marts.
Now all of that has changed. After being kidnapped while walking home one day Martin became the prisoner to the mad scientist for three years. During those three years it was surprising to say that Dr.Navan actually did only one things to Martin.
Dr.Navan began to work on him using green eco to make a mental connection between him and another person or creature. This is why Dr.Navan only did one experiment, one long drawn out experiment, since he didn't want to change the molecular structure of Martin and screw up his current attempts.
Because of this experiment Martin has several scars along his back where Dr.Navan had used tubes and other devises to directly inject green eco into his spinal cord and nervous system. Unfortunately a small side affect of the experiments was sudden pain that would run through his body, originating from the small of his back and going through every nerve in his body. A small affect from nerve damage in the spine. The more experience he becomes in green eco the more this side effect lessens, but it is a problem that is always looming on the horizon and it is never known when it will hit. And even though it may only last a second or two that is plenty of time for something to take his life.
The ultimate result of this experiment though, is that now, Martin has been mentally connected to a large creature that can only be summed up as a dragon. A large creature that has been gene spliced so many time it now resembles nothing less then the creatures of legend. With this mental connection Dr.Navan succeeded in finding a way to connect soldiers over long distances with out the use of radio! Unfortunately there was a draw back that made the experiment unusable for field use. Along with the mental connection came a mental dependency. Earlier experiments had this problem and resulted in the death of prior subjects. Dr.Navan, thinking he had finally fixed this problem continued on finding that this problem still plagued his subjects.
With this mental dependency the two subjects are now dependent on the other. What ever pain one feels the other feels, if one subject dies, the other will die shortly after, there body going into shock.
After the first year of experiments Dr.Navan used the next two years to try and correct this problem. During this time Martin became acquainted with the creature that his life was now depended upon, the large dragon like beast that he calls Skye.
It was a ruff start for the both of them since who can prepare you for someone that is constantly rummaging through your thoughts, and at times things got a little hostile, but eventually that came to pass. Every thought, every feeling, every pain all comes through as vibrant as if the person who did not think it was thinking it. Along with this the other now knows your darkest secrets, which can result in some very interesting conversations! The longer and longer they went together the more and more they became attached to each other, not in the sense that they had to be, but that they were becoming closer in the sense of how a family would. There was no one to lean upon in the laboratory, no one to comfort them so they had to comfort each other, bringing them to see each other as family.
Unfortunately for Dr.Navan, the two years he spent trying to fix the problem of the mental dependency was brought to an end. A massive prison break resulted in many of his subjects to escape, including Martin and Skye, not wanting to wait for the experiments to kill them.
Now after years of dodging KG patrols Martin has slowly made a living out of what ever job he can find, including underground jet-board races, running messages and packages, and what ever small jobs he could find.
With the KG looking for the run-a-ways Martin was never really able to go home to see his family, only able to drop for short visits, just to head out again before anyone else knew that he was there. With his friends too scared to be around him for fear of association and being kidnapped their selves he has come to really have no actual friends other than Skye. And now the only place he has to call home is an old abandoned office building of decent size, giving him enough room to practice jet boarding, or should I say failing. No ones good at everything!
