Kashara stumbled as the man dodged, but quickly caught balance, but yet again just as quick lost it complete. With a thump he hit the ground, at a loss for breathe, the blast had hit him hard. As his lungs heaved he was forcing himself to stand, despite the pain. " I will not die today, not this way." Red eco was surging around his wounds, strengthening the tissue, so that the contusion was significantly less painful, but he still suffered from the blood loss.
The fall had ended his blood lust, so his movements became more nimble, more his actual style. He flipped his sword, so the blade was on the outer part of his hand, and took stance. I have twenty minutes at the most to finish this battle, so I better make it quick.
He commenced dash at Lythron in an odd zigzag pattern at Lythron, when he was in proximity of him, he jumped, but instead of just instantly going straight, for the cut, he spun around, flipping the blade to a normal stance once it was out of Lythron's view, Land as many strikes as possible, land them hard, land them quick, whatever it takes to stop this man.

Oh no you don't! Lythron thought, as he ducked down until his face was almost to the ground. This move saved his life, but exposed his back, which allowed the sword to make a thin, shallow cut across the middle of his back. Lythron gritted his teeth, as his vision flashed and his thoughts rushed. He felt the blood oozing from the new wound. Wincing, he forced himself back to his feet. Damn it, that almost severed my spinal cord! he thought, as he returned his attention to Kashara. He had lost his shotgun in his maneuver, so he pulled out his Glock again, and aimed it at Kashara. "God, would he just die already?" Lythron muttered. He was getting very frustrated, as his opponents were not usually this tough. He was skilled, but not in a battle that took a long time.

Kashara cursed, not enough, why hadn't he paralyzed nor incapacitated him in that move, just simply damaged him, and not nearly as much as he himself had been. Not much time left, every movement cuts it shorter. and Kashara was very precise in that thought, for his vision was beginning to show motion blur, and his legs were become quivering under himself.
He looked at the wooden fence, it was a tall wooden picket fence, that could if done correctly could hold a man's weight, and if done incorrectly, would collapse, so many ideas began to run through Kashara's mind when one he thought perfect came. He knew if he did this, it would be a one shot chance, and his last chance. "This better work." He began to sprint towards Lythron.

Another rushing attack? Surely he must have realized that those don't work against me? Lythron aimed his pistol quickly, and squeezed off four more rounds at Kashara, before dashing towards the right. Something's not right though...Someone as skilled to him must have at least have a decent mind...There must be more to it than this!

He quickly jumped towards the wall of planks, he hit them at an awkward angle, and it suddenly collapsed in upon him, with him rolling into the yard, out of Lythron's sight. Plan well done, but to make it perfect, he had to make his loss seem complete. He let the shield down on his wounds and with the blunt side of his sword, harshly hit his back, causing him to yelp in pain. After that he silently moved away from the scene, and wiped the blood from his blade. Take the bait.

Lythron stared unblinkingly towards where Kashara had disappeared. After several seconds, he pressed the magazine release on his pistol, the half-empty clip falling to the ground. He extracted a fresh clip of 9mm ammunition from his coat, and slipped it into the Glock. Now reassured by his full magazine, Lythron stepped forward cautiously, and entered the yard. He swept his pistol over the lawn quickly, trying to find his target. Where is he? He was thinking. I swear to the precursors that if that fat bastard doesn't have every orb ready when I get back, I'm going to shoot HIM. Lythron observed the area for several more seconds, before it hit him. Son of a..! It's a trap! Lythron quickly pressed his back to the nearest wall, and gripped his Glock with two hands. He swept it from side to side, prepared to fire at the slightest movement.

Kashara holding his breathe, silently and quickly move towards Lythron. When he was too close for it to matter, he exhaled his breathe, jumped off the wooden barrier next to him, and brought his sword down towards the man. He was using the blunt side of his blade, so that once his attack landed, it wouldn't kill the man, allowing Kashara to interrogate him.

Lythron reacted quickly, and strafed to the side as abruptly as possible. Not quite fast enough though, as the sharp edge of his blade slashed downwards, from the side. Rather than a cut, it ripped a fair portion of his skin off, exposing muscle. With a strangled cry, Lythron let his arm drop to the side, and whirled around to point his Glock at Kashara's head with his good arm. Knowing full well that Kash was too weakened to dodge, Lythron aimed carefully at his forehead, and pulled the trigger.
A click. That's all he heard. No recoil, no bang. Just a click. Lythron looked in surprise at his handgun. "Well...That's a first." He said casually. He ejected the clip, and peered down into it. The bullets were all dented. Even a reliable pistol couldn't fire ammunition damaged this badly. It probably happened during the fall. That had been his last clip too. With a sigh, he slipped the pistol back into his coat, and eyed his enemy. Knowing full well that Kashara couldn't do anything now, Lythron examined the new wound on his arm with a wince. A good two inches of skin had been scraped off, and the wound was bleeding profusely. A necessary maneuver, but the thought didn't make it any less painful. A shame he had no bandages on him. His back wasn't in particularly good shape either, come to think of it. He turned his attention back to Kashara. "Well Commander, you fought well today. I seldom meet anyone that can actually match me in a duel. Another attack like that, and I would be too weak to keep fighting. But before I kill you, I have a question. Where did you learn all of your swordsmanship from?"

Kashara had landed on his knees, everything around him was blurry, but he heard Lythron speak, it sounded as if he was speaking through a tunnel to him, but he understood. The problem was could he convey the secret of his dojo. He knew only one truthful way to tell this man where. " From a sensai who died years ago, but if you don't mind, why do you call me commander." his words were slurred, and he could barely say them, but once he finished, his head began to spin, and he fell the rest of the way to the ground, barely able to keep his eyes open.

Well, that's odd.. Lythron thought. Shouldn't he know his rank? usually KG leaders take great pride in their ranks. Lythron couldn't help but to loose himself in his thinking, before a wave of dizziness enveloped him. Stumbling slightly, he rubbed his forehead. "Damn blood-loss is getting to me.." He muttered. He cast another glance at Kashara. "Do you not know your own rank, Commander? Or are you merely delirious?" Despite his best efforts, he slurred his words slightly, as he was getting lightheaded. He'd need some bandages, and quickly.
