Letting out a startled scream as Etrius started to attack John, a shield formed around Kelinna in reaction. Covering her ears from the loud gun shot she glared at Karras for the sound, "will you two stop fighting! There is no reason for this!" Turning her head at Karras's sitting form she looked at him in surprise "aren't you going to try and stop them? They are going to kill each other."

Small droplets of eco were thrown from Lord Deco's body as more and more bullets tore their way through him. They landed delicately upon the sandy beach like black raindrops, resting for only the briefest of moments before slithering back to be re-assimilated by the dark figure. This getting shot thing was beginning to grow very old. . . very fast. Lashing out with one tentacle in an attempt to grab a hold of the would-be retreating DB, Deco turned to face the pair of gun-toting vermin. He then dove towards Zrion like a shapeless tidal wave of dark eco, bothering to regain his human appearance only when he was a few feet away. A feral roar of challenge tore the sky as he drew back one massive fist, shaping into a single jagged spike, and thrust it down towards his opponents chest. All the while he sent more and more deadly tendrils screaming through the air towards Pyro, hoping to interrupt what felt to be a steady build of red eco.

Zrion reacted instantly. He raised his hand, and a spherical shield of red eco surrounded him. The shield flickered and dimmed as Zrion struggled to reinforce it against the intense wave of dark eco. When the wave was gone, Zrion lowered the shield. "First time for everything." He said, referring to the shield. He holstered his pistol. Obviously it wouldn't work. Only eco could hurt that...thing. Zrion charged all his limbs with red eco, and waited for Deco's reaction.

"Why should I? Seems like a good deal to me... If they kill each other then there's two less problems for me to deal with when they're done." Karras casually replies to Kalinna, still focused mostly on the battle with Deco but keeping the other battle within his peripheral vision, his eco powers almost back to full strength.

Looking shocked at Karras's words, Kelinna stared at him for a second with a blank look. "You are such a..a...JERK!" Throwing a small turf of dirt at Karras's head, Kelinna hoped it hit its target. Turning to look at Deco's form she wondered how someone came in contact with so much dark eco.
Shivering from memories she turned her attention to John and Etrius "honestly they are fighting like children who didn't get their way." Crossing her arms aggravated Kelinna wondered how this would end and if it would ever end.

Lord Deco grinned down sadistically at Zrion as the eco shield vanished. Ripping this pathetic vermin to pieces might just be more entertaining than originally anticipated. Drawing his massive fist back once more, the self-proclaimed god of destruction let loose a savage backhand towards his opponents head with enough force to shatter boulders. All the while he made sure to keep an eye his remaining opponents, loathing the idea of being taken by surprise.

Zrion quickly jumped backwards. He stumbled slightly from the sudden movement it took to avoid the blow, but managed to avoid falling over. He was in one of the worst situations imaginable for him. Guns wouldn't help here, and he wasn't particularly strong in eco. Not to mention he wouldn't want to get close enough to use it anyway. Considering the incredibly loud 'whoosh!' of the attack, it probably would have killed him, and definitely would have knocked him out cold.
Zrion didn't know much about eco, but he knew that only something that could be worked from a distance would work....Namely anything except red eco. It might work, but getting close to deco would probably be a death sentence. His expression was grim as he gazed at deco. From what he could feel, deco was incredibly strong in dark eco. If even a match for him Zephan wouldn't stand much of chance against him, despite his sage level of green eco. Although maybe with another green eco user it would work.
Well, it didn't matter anyway. Zrion had left Zephan back at their home, not thinking he would need his healing abilities. Well...he was right about that much. He couldn't be healed if he was dead. He clenched his fist.
He felt guilt now, knowing perfectly well that Zephan would want to die with him anyway.
Zrion's shoulders slumped slightly as he continued to evaluate his situation. Zrion pushed his feelings out of his mind, and focused on Deco.

"Miserable insect..." Lord Deco laughed, taking a few menacing steps in Zrion's direction. "How long do you plan on playing this little game? Your efforts only serve to postpone the inevitable." Even as the villain spoke, more jagged tendrils of eco began growing from his back and arching around to face the determined warrior before him. Such wasted bravery. So then, with every single liquid molecule working in perfect unison, the deadly appendages all lashed forward with lethal accuracy, screaming through the air for blood.

Zrion pulled together his remaining red eco, and formed a shield in an attempt to hold off the blow. He could feel the effort of manipulating the eco sapping his strength. It only worsened when the tendrils struck the shield. Zrion let out a cry of agony as the shield began to suck his strength out of his body. The shield flickered and dimmed as the eco began to take it's toll.
What Zrion didn't know however, was that Zephan had followed him. Despite the fact that Zrion had told him to stay put, Zephan was always reluctant to let his friend out of his sight, as close as they were. Not to mention of course his feeling of dread.
His suspicions were confirmed as he walked around the corner, and spotted Zrion struggling to repel the tendrils. Damn, that thing was nothing but dark eco. So he thought. Zephan began to gather together his eco, in preparation for attack. He would need to wait, and make his attack much more powerful than just throwing it at him. "Just a little longer Zrion..." He muttered, as his eco signature flared.

Deco couldn't help but laugh as he felt Pyro assaulting him from behind. Some just can't wait to die. The multitudes of jagged tendrils that had previously been lashing out in all directions suddenly arched back towards each other like some sort of demonic fly trap, hoping to ensnare the would-be attacker and drag him into the mass of dark eco that was the dark lord's body. It was then, however, that a massive flare in green eco caught his attention. Eyes glowing with frustration over the unwelcome interruption, Deco turned to see what appeared to be an ottsel of all things. A sadistic smirk then crossed his features as he raised his arm to point a single finger in the newcomer's direction. "Begone rodent." With that, a thin beam of dark energy suddenly lanced outwards, tearing a long groove in the blood-soaked sands as it screamed through the air towards the ottsel.
